Wonderfully located near Kensington Palace, Ashbourne College in Kensington, West London, England, is an Independent Sixth Form College offering GCSE and A level pre-university education to international and UK students. Following the university ethos, the college combines informality and an adult approach to education, at both A level and GCSE, with a disciplined system in which each student's work is carefully monitored. The college is fully co-educational and considers its primary strength to be its small size, coupled with its friendly and caring approach. The School is diverse, with approximately 50% of students coming from overseas.
As a private college, Ashbourne is selective. All prospective students are either interviewed by the Principal or Director of Studies. The admissions process is friendly, informal, and our focus is on providing each applicant with the best available advice on all their options at A level and GCSE, without obligation. We are selective to the extent that we expect students to have above average grades and further academic ambitions and interests beyond the school curriculum.
Homestay Accommodation:
Boarding with a family will appeal to those who wish to experience English family life. Many students bond quickly with their host families, often forming friendships that will continue into adult life. All accommodation is fully inspected before it is offered to students and is within walking distance or an easy journey by bus or train from Ashbourne.

As a private college we are conscious of our responsibility for maintaining a very high standard of facilities and equipment. Ashbourne's main building at Old Court Place is fully equipped for A level study. In addition to teaching rooms, there is a library with computer and Internet access and a full range of learning resources. There are specialist laboratories for the teaching of Science subjects and ICT.

Ashbourne College is situated in the very heart of Kensington (100 metres from Kensington Palace), west London, England. The college operates on two sites very close to each other. The main site is at 17 Old Court Place, Kensington. The other is on Kensington High Street but its entrance is on Young Street and is referred to as “Young Street”. If you cross High Street Kensington at the bottom of Old Court Place, turn right, and then take the first left on to Young Street, you will find the entrance just 20 metres down on the left hand side.

Rochester Independent College, in the County of Kent, just east of London, offers a distinctive alternative to a conventional sixth form and a stepping stone between school and university. Established in 1984, we accept day students from the age of 11. Boarding is available for A-level students and Year 11 students on GCSE courses who are aged 16 or older.
Students come to us from all over the UK and the world, as well as the local area. There are no bells ringing, no uniforms and everybody is on first name terms. The College has an atmosphere closer to university than school where students are treated as young adults.
About 65 of the College's 280 students are boarders. Our Halls combine the informality of a university residence with the supervision and pastoral support appropriate for young adults.

The Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts (LIPA) opened in 1996 to forge a new approach to performing arts training. We offer performing arts classes for 4 - 19 years old in our part-time performing arts academy called LIPA 4:19.
