Sparks is a film school provides creative workshops where children and teenagers (aged 7 - 16 years) learn all about film-making. Our workshops include Film-making, Animation and Acting for Camera, as well as School Holiday Workshops and more.
Alongside acting for camera, they also learn how to direct, skills in camera operation, editing, animation, scriptwriting, creating special effects and even more. Rochester Independent College, in the County of Kent, just east of London, offers a distinctive alternative to a conventional sixth form and a stepping stone between school and university. Established in 1984, we accept day students from the age of 11. Boarding is available for A-level students and Year 11 students on GCSE courses who are aged 16 or older.
Students come to us from all over the UK and the world, as well as the local area. There are no bells ringing, no uniforms and everybody is on first name terms. The College has an atmosphere closer to university than school where students are treated as young adults.
