Boarding Facilities:

Each boarding house is run by houseparents who lead a team of dedicated staff to care for the pupils in their charge. The staff are supportive and understanding, providing on-going guidance throughout the student’s time at the school and ensuring that new boarders soon settle in with the existing pupils.

- We are a very friendly school and pupils soon feel at home in the warm, family atmosphere. We arrange for airport transfers for all our overseas pupils at the beginning and end of each term.

- Specialist English language tuition is offered to all our overseas pupils. The principal aim of this tuition is to ensure that all our pupils achieve the level of linguistic competence that will enable them to derive maximum benefit from teaching in all the subjects available in the School’s broad educational curriculum.

Clubs and Societies:
The many clubs and societies offered at Oswestry School are designed to appeal to pupils of various ages and interests. Included are such diverse activities as sailing, chess, photography, horse riding, self defence, personal fitness, badminton and mountain biking. After school activities and clubs vary each term but there is always a wide variety of activities to choose from.

LIPA - Liverpool Institute of Performing Arts

The Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts (LIPA) opened in 1996 to forge a new approach to performing arts training. We offer performing arts classes for 4 - 19 years old in our part-time performing arts academy called LIPA 4:19. We have over 450 students who attend LIPA 4:19 every week and we have been blessed with a huge pool of talent from around the North. Due to its popularity, we opened a new satellite school at Maghull High School in September 2008. providing training in acting, singing and dancing.

The arts and entertainment industry needs multi-disciplined all-round performers, and LIPA 4:19 is designed to make you just that. Here you learn to sing, dance and act with fully qualified and enthusiastic tutors, who all have professional experience. All classes are carefully designed to reflect the correct stage of performing arts development for each age group, from young children through to teenagers.

Being based at the world-famous Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts, LIPA 4:19 also offers fantastic facilities for the students and a safe and encouraging learning environment.
