Summer English Programs for Teens in California
Kaplan International Los Angeles Area:
Kaplan International offer a summer English school for teenagers and juniors on the attractive campus of Whittier College, just 15 minutes east of Downtown Los Angeles, California. The summer English courses are designed for 12-18 year olds from around the world who wish to learn English on an academic campus and enjoy year-round sunshine and a laid-back beach culture. Our summer ESL programs for juniors include 20 English classes per week as well as a full summer activity program plus excursions.

Our summer ESL programs for juniors (ages 12-18) in the Los Angeles area include:
• 15 hours of English language classes per week for beginner, intermediate and advanced level
• Max. 15 students per class - each student receives individual attention
• International classes
• Full summer activity program plus excursions
• Full induction on the first day at summer school

Summer English Classes:
Students are taught in international classes according to their level of English, which is assessed at the beginning of their summer English class.
Throughout the English course, each student's progress is monitored by our school's highly skilled teaching staff.
Kaplan uses a set of teaching materials specially designed for younger learners.
Our skilled and friendly teachers at our summer English school in the Los Angeles area will ensure that all classes offer learners a diverse mix of activities. We strive to provide English classes that are both enjoyable and challenging.
Summer Activity Program:
A minimum of three activities per week are provided during your summer in the Los Angeles area.
You will also have the opportunity to take part in optional excursions (for which extra charges apply) organized by the school to visit LA's top attractions. School activities and excursions may include:

Rolling Robots provides 1-week tech Summer camp programs for children and teens ages 6+. With campuses in Glendale and Palos Verdes in the Greater Los Angeles area, kids at Rolling Robots have the opportunity to transform the ideas of their imagination into reality through STEM-based engineering, programming, and robotics programs.Our summer camps feature less than 6 students per instructor and no more than 12 students total per session. One of the oldest and best independent private schools in Orange County in Southern California, Eldorado Emerson Private School offers excellent preschool, elementary, and junior / senior high school summer session programs at a very reasonable price. This programs run for 6 weeks during June and July.Founded in 1958, Eldorado Emerson Private School received the highest WASC accreditation. Our school culture is one of diversity, creativity, and kindness - an environment in which every student feels valued and inspired to excel in all subjects. Our summer programs are also open to students who do not currently attend Eldorado Emerson.
For our summer programs, we maintain regular school hours from 9:00am to 3:00pm, Monday through Friday (although preschoolers have their regular half and full day schedules). We also offer before-school care (7:30am to 9:00am) and after-school care (3:00pm to 6:00pm).
