The Key Worldwide is based in Sacramento in Northern Central Valley, CA, and it is the nation's largest private life coaching and college counseling company. The Key Worldwide is offering five rigorous summer programs for high school students to earn college level mastery of their personal career passions. Classes will be hosted on the Marina Del Rey campus of Loyola Marymount University (LMU) in Los Angeles, and consist of three days of total immersion.
The Key was founded by Rick Singer, widely recognized as an elite-level college admissions, sports, career, and life coach. With over 30 years coaching experience, Rick has assembled, at The Key, a team of master coaches who specialize in helping clients unlock their greatest potential and achieve their personal goals. ** For Summer 2020 in response to COVID-19, Wizbots has closed its in-person camps and is offering live, online classes through its WizAcademy. WizAcademy offers engaging and fun online courses with live, passionate mentors. Our wide variety of subjects are designed to spark curiosity, deepen knowledge, develop a creative problem-solving mindset and foster a love of learning. We offer week-long classes throughout the summer.
Wizbots combines LEGO® robotics, Java coding, and lots of imagination to provide a unique STEM learning experience for kids (ages 8-14) in the San Francisco Bay Area.
With no prerequisites, Wizbots is the perfect opportunity for novices to first learn about robotics, yet it's self-paced format also acts to further the skills of those who already have experience.
Using LEGO® MINDSTORMS® and Java, your child will journey from Novice towards Master in our project-based, gamified curriculum. By tackling new projects, challenging creativity, and exercising problem-solving, campers learn engineering, programming, math, and physics in a hands-on, collaborative way.
Parents can experience all the fun too with camper project videos posted online to see and share! We offer affordable half day, full day, and extended care options in convenient locations across the Bay Area.

This ad space is available to a school or company offering engaging and creative LEGO robotics programs, year-round courses and summer robotics camps for kids in the San Diego area.
Program yoUr Future (PUF) is a non-profit outreach program that aims to raise greater awareness for women in technology by complimenting San Francsico Bay Area middle school girls’ education with programming basics using AppInventor and Scratch, networking skills, and fieldtrips to local museums or tech companies. We provide Saturday workshops and summer camps to introduce girls in 7th or 8th grade to computing, information technology, and careers in IT. Programs are hosted in high-tech and top research sites, including the International Computer Science Institute and the University of California Berkeley.
PUF will also cover topics such as How to Write a Resume, STEM Year-long Opportunities, and High School Success & Leadership. In addition, participants will interact with and learn from IT and STEM mentors and key note speakers AND participate in mock interviews.
Through fun CS-related hands-on activities, they will not only have the opportunity to explore interdisciplinary applications and acquire presentation skills but will also be able to keep their creation as a souvenir! The participants are also challenged to identify a social issue or problem and design a solution integrating the use of information technology.
No programming experience or prior computer science knowledge is necessary to participate. The girls will form a strong community and enduring friendships. Students will also have the opportunity to receive prizes and scholarship money.
