Located just 2 blocks from Venice Beach, in Santa Monica CA, Edgemar Center for The Arts provides a range of quality acting classes for kids and teens of all ages and abilities, including an intensive Summer Acting Camp for ages 5-18. Unleash your child's creative abilities with one of our fun, imaginative, and professionally-taught acting courses encompassing many of the most popular acting techniques including Meisner, Strasberg, Adler, Hagen, Chekhov & Stanislavsky.
Quality Acting Classes for Kids of All Ages & Abilities:
Our Los Angeles Acting School encompasses the following acting techniques: Meisner, Strasberg, Adler, Hagen, Chekhov & the Stanislavsky Technique.
Summer Acting Camps:
We are running 5 day summer camps from June to August 2017. Choose from Make a Movie Camp or Acting and Improv Camp. We only allow 12 students per session. Camps are split into age groups 7-12 and 13-17.
Make A Movie Camp
A different film is made each week.
Students will write and star in their own original short film.
We will guide them as they take their thoughts and ideas to the page, and from the page to the screen. This is a one-of-a-kind experience, and we are thrilled to be able to to see what ideas our students come up with and help make it a reality on screen!

Acting and Improv Camp
Develop a solid acting technique and foundation.
IMPROV WORKOUT: Fun improvisational games & exercises.
AUDITIONING FOR FILM AND TELEVISION ON CAMERA: Practice auditioning techniques & get on camera experience.
SCENE STUDY: The best way to learn is though hands on experience with direction. Work on scenes & monologues
VOICE INTENSIVE: Vocal and speech exercises.

Year-Round Acting Classes for Kids:
On Camera Audition Course (Ages 7-14)
This course is designed for students ages 7-14 who are new to being on-camera, and those who want to further develop their acting and audition skills with confidence. This is a fun class where students get to work with the latest sides from sitcom, episodic, film, and commercials. Class sizes are small.
Acting and Improvisation class (Ages 7-14)
Through theatre/improv games and scene work, student’s imaginations and creativity blossom to their full potential. Students in our Acting and Improvisation class create characters, learn to trust their instincts, make new friends, build confidence, and develop independent thinking along the way. At the end of each 8-week session, students perform in a showcase.
Make a Movie Class (Ages 7-14)

• Situated in the beautiful city of Irvine CA (just 45 minutes south-east of Los Angeles), D'Angon Academy for Language Acquisition provides a comprehensive English language learning summer camp for children ages 3-16. Our 1 and 2-week camps feature training in Improvisation, Sketch Comedy, and Musical Improvisation.
