New Hampton School:
New Hampton School is an independent boarding and day school serving boys and girls in grades 9-12 and at postgraduate level. We are located in the center of the small village of New Hampton, Belknap County, New Hampshire, 100 miles north of Boston.

The Foundations of Learning curriculum is an extension of our philosophy shaping every facet of the New Hampton experience. We enhance the potential of students and promote academic success and development of caring community members. Our students are talented artists, athletes, and leaders who often learn best through hands-on experiences. We offer an extraordinary array of specialty courses, including music recording and playwriting.

Approximately two-thirds of our student body resides on campus, housed in thirteen dormitories. Apartments adjoining each dormitory house faculty and their families. Dormitories vary in occupancy size from seven to just over 30 students, and each has a unique layout.

Dorms and Facilities:
We have thirteen dormitories varying in size, each with resident dorm parents/ family. Main buildings: classrooms and science laboratories, three computer labs, research center and library, arts and athletics complex.

We also have photography labs, theater, studios for the arts (dance, music, and media production), climbing wall, five athletic fields, nine tennis courts, hockey rink, ski and snowboard center, two ponds, and a 340-acre mountain area for outdoor recreation.

Four dorm parents staff every dorm. The dean of students oversees the residential program, and works closely with all dorm parents, the student activities director, and Health and Counseling Services. It is a goal of the Office of School Life to support a healthy and rich living experience for boarding students, helping their stay to be comfortable and as family-style as possible.

We offer a highly individualized college counseling process. Our senior class of over 100 students will matriculate to more than 85 different colleges and universities from small liberal arts colleges to large urban universities our students are attending schools like Cornell, Columbia, St. Lawrence University, Princeton University, University of Colorado Boulder, Holy Cross, Lewis & Clark College and Boston College.
