Clearview Horizon School for Girls:
Clearview Horizon School for Girls is a therapeutic boarding school designed for girls between the ages of 13 to 21 years. We are located in Sandpoint in Bonner County, Idaho, set in the beautiful Montana mountains. Clearview is for girls who are struggling with self-esteem, motivation, purpose, the influence of a negative peer environment, recreational drug use, an eating disorder, or some other destructive behavioral pattern.
Therapeutic Boarding School Program:
The Clearview Experience is a controlled, therapeutic boarding school environment which emphasizes Athletic, Academic, and Emotional fitness. Mentoring is also a crucial part of our overall program. The program is highly structured and responsibilities are taken very seriously.
Clearview Horizon is a Christian-based program. The girls attend church, Bible study and say grace at dinner. We offer compassionate care to students of all beliefs.
Clearview provides innovative therapy techniques including individual, group and family therapy. We also have a Chemical Dependency Counselor on staff to provide extra support in dealing with the unique issues associated with drug addictions.
The goal is to uncover the psychological factors contributing to the student’s unhealthy behavioral choices. The student will then learn therapeutic tools that will assist her the rest of her life to be a healthy woman.
Teachers are on site to ensure that all students continue their academic progress. Vocational training for students over the age of 18 including attending North Idaho Community College, Beauty School, Pet Grooming School or Job Shadowing.
Students at Clearview live together in our lodge, have daily chores and meet regularly with their therapists who help them confront fears and gain confidence in a safe, nurturing and structured environment.
Academic Programs:
All Clearview students begin their studies on the Clearview campus and we have teachers on staff to ensure that all students continue their academic progress. The advanced student that is ready to attend a community school will receive tutoring when necessary and participate in after school activities.
Academic progress reports will be reported to parents monthly. Clearview offers tutoring, special assistance with any homework problems, and constant contact with teachers to stay informed of the student’s progress.
Students that are interested in taking the high school equivalency test (GED) and moving into junior college or the work world will be supported and encouraged. We also offer the option of vocational training and job shadowing for high school graduates.

Cherry Gulch is an accredited therapeutic boarding school for boys ages 10 to 14 with various difficulties including ADHD, learning differences, oppositional-defiance, depression, low self-esteem, poor motivation, anger, anxiety, family conflict, and other behavioral and emotional problems. Mountain Springs Preparatory Academy

Located in Cedar City, Iron County UT, 250 miles south of Salt Lake City, Mountain Springs Preparatory Academy (MSPA) is a transitional boarding school for boys & girls ages 14-18, who are transitioning from a residential treatment center (RTC) or wilderness program in need of a safe environment to practice the new skills that that they have learned. MSPA is not a therapeutic boarding school but therapy is available from trained professionals in the community who work with MSPA and understand our unique mission and philosophy. The Academy at Sisters, Bend

Located just south of Bend, Oregon at the base of the Three Sisters Mountains, The Academy at Sisters is a small and exclusive therapeutic boarding school for at risk young women ages 13-18. We provide treatment and academic services for girls who have put themselves in dangerous situations such as playing truant, drug and alcohol abuse, and are beyond parental control.
The length of stay is one year to 18 months. Our academic program is an integral part of our treatment program, varied and challenging, making us the leading Oregon Boarding School for at-risk girls. We teach students to learn from the past, plan for the future, and live responsibly in the present.

West Ridge Academy

West Ridge Academy is a youth rehabilitation boarding school for boys and girls (ages 9-18) in West Jordan, a suburb of Salt Lake City in Utah. Since 1964, West Ridge Academy (formerly known as the Utah Boys Ranch) has been helping troubled teens and bringing hope to struggling young men, young women and their families by providing clinical services, a quality residential education and experiences which promote spiritual awareness, personal accountability and change of heart.
Appropriate candidates are adolescent males and females, ages 9-18, with a history of soft to moderate emotional and behavioral problems, low self-esteem, academic underachievement, substance abuse and family conflict. The school is Christian but non-denominational.

Located in northwestern Montana, Turning Winds Academic Institute (TWAI) is an accredited, family-run, therapeutic boarding school for troubled teens (boys and girls) ages 13-18 from Oregon and across the United States.In our beautiful, peaceful, and safe location, we combine the benefits of a therapeutic boarding school, a wilderness program, and a residential treatment center (RTC).
