Language Studies International (LSI) Auckland, with two campuses in the centre of Auckland, on the north island of New Zealand, is part of the worldwide LSI group of English Language Schools. At LSI Auckland we offer General English Courses, Cambridge Exam Courses, International School Year, IELTS, TOEFL iBT & TOEIC Preparation, English for sepcific purposes (Pilots, Nurses) and Executive Courses to students of all ages and abilities.
LSI Auckland has two campuses in the centre of Auckland, both close to cafes and restaurants and just a ten minute walk away from bus links. The Scotia Place campus has bright classrooms which overlook the phoenix palm trees in Myers Park. The other campus overlooks cafes in Auckland's fashionable High Street. Facilities include a computer room with internet access, a television and video, a small library and student common rooms. Auckland, the largest city in New Zealand, is situated on a narrow stretch of land in the north of the country. The city's two harbours have earned it the name of "City of Sails".
Auckland has magnificent beaches and perfect sailing conditions. A boat trip to the islands in the Hauraki Gulf is an experience not to be missed. Auckland is the financial and business centre of New Zealand and, as such, it naturally offers attractive shopping amenities, for example the Atrium on Elliott Street. The largest collection of Polynesian and Maori art in the world is on show at the Auckland Museum. Those who wish to see typical New Zealand bush can take a trip through the Waitakere Ranges in West Auckland
Activities:
The social activities programme includes three categories of activity: cultural, social and sporting. For example, students can take part in a diving course or learn to sail in summer and in winter there is weekend skiing, windsurfing and horse-riding and more.
Do you receive a free certificate once the course has ended?
Yes, as long as you have attended at least 80% of the course. All students who are studying on a Student Visa (longer than 12 weeks), will have their attendance noted on their certificate.
Can I study at more than one location?
Yes, for example a student might enrol for 10 weeks of the Intensive 30 course spending 6 weeks in Auckland and 4 weeks in Christchurch. Or a student might choose to study for 12 weeks in Auckland and 12 weeks in Christchurch during a 24 week ISY course. Students must give us 2 weeks’ notice of this. Also, one move is free. The second movement will incur an administrative charge.

Dominion, located downtown in Auckland & Christchurch, are two of New Zealand's most established language schools offering up to 8 levels of English Language Instruction, Dominion English Schools have an international reputation for high academic standards, extensive activity programmes and a friendly "at home" atmosphere. We never close (except on public holidays). At Dominion English Schools students can transfer between the schools. There is a maximum of about 150 students in each school: large enough to have 8 levels of English; small enough for everyone to be your friend. There are Junior Schools in January, February, July & August for students 14 years - 17 years and Senior Schools for students 18 years +. There is also a Silvers Programme for students 50 years +.
