Latrobe College of Art and Design:
Set in the artistic hub of Collingwood in Melbourne, Australia, Latrobe College of Art and Design is an Independent and nationally registered college of art and design in Australia renowned for offering specialised, practically based courses in visual art, graphic and communication design, and photography.

Students can complete a one year Diploma or two year Advanced Diploma, or they may undertake a single trimester subject, in a discipline of their choice with a focus on subjects that can range from painting, drawing, communication design, moving image, digital and analogue photography, sculpture, graphic design, studio practice, web design, animation, art history and theory, and more.

With small class sizes local and international students can work with Latrobe College's acknowledged and profiled industry professional teaching staff through full or part-time study.



Study:

Full time study load is three days per week. Part-time is reduced full-time, 1 to 2 days per week.

Teachers:

Our teaching staff are acknowledged professional artists, designers and teachers and industry professionals and programs offered are full-time fully accredited diplomas through to short introductory courses.

Who Can Apply:

The course is open to year 11 and 12 high school graduates and mature aged applicants as well as international students. The course suits new students as well as more experienced. An ATAR is not required and Vet Student Loans are available to domestic students.

There are three intake options per year - February, May and September.

NEW YORK / VENICE BIENNALE / BERLIN:

For the past 19 years Latrobe College students and non-students have joined the annual art tour to either New York, the Venice Biennale or Berlin. For two weeks students become fully immersed in art and design undertaking drawing and studio workshops, and producing an art journal. On return to Melbourne, participants are invited to participate in Journals exhibition at the Latrobe College Gallery.

Rings Road Art Studio is a privately owned working art studio in Moorabbin, a suburb of Melbourne, Victoria. We offer tutored and untutored drawing and painting classes for adults at beginner and intermediate levels. We also offer portfolio preparation classes for teenagers and adults. Classes will assist participants at all levels of skill and experience to develop observational and interpretive methods in drawing and painting.
