StudyCELTA: CELTA & Delta Courses Cape Town:
StudyCELTA is a young and dynamic team of professionals working in the field of English language teaching since 1999. We offer Cambridge University teacher training courses including CELTA (Certificate in English Language Teaching to Adults) courses and Delta course modules in Cape Town, South Africa. The CELTA course is available all year round and is a full-time course (4 weeks). Our Delta course is available once a year. Both courses are approved and moderated by the University of Cambridge ESOL and are the most widely recognised qualifications for English language teaching.

We're here to help and give you our advice based on personal knowledge of Cape Town and of English language teaching as a career. Accommodation can be arranged by the teacher training centre for trainees from outside Cape Town.

Photo of CELTA / DELTA Courses in Cape Town- CELTA Certificate (full-time 4-week course):The Cambridge CELTA course leads to an internationally recognised qualification and is intended for people without previous teaching experience who wish to enter the profession of English language teaching to adults. It is also appropriate for those with some EFL experience, but no formal qualification or training, as well as for teachers from other fields who are interested in developing a career in English language teaching. This course is available in Cape Town all year round.

- Delta Course Modules:
The Cambridge DELTA is an internationally recognised qualification for experienced teachers of English wanting to open up career avenues to more senior ELT (English Language Teaching) posts for which the Delta is invariably required.

Tutors are all practising teachers of English who divide their time between teaching and teacher training. They are highly qualified and experienced both as teachers and trainers and themselves take part in ongoing training programmes, such as attending conferences and in-house development sessions, in order to keep abreast of the cutting edge of the ELT profession.

The tutors have worked internationally and bring a wide range of key experience, qualifications and knowledge to the course. All CELTA and Delta trainers undergo a rigorous selection and training process that is monitored by the University of Cambridge.
