San Antonio Swim Academy:
San Antonio Swim Academy with eight excellent locations in San Antonio, TX, is the premier year round swim school in the area offering swimming class to students of all ages and levels. The San Antonio Swim Academy has proudly served San Antonio families since 2000. Each year we help students and families learn water safety skills and swimming technique. As a one-stop-swim-shop we have classes for almost all aquatic situations. Our philosphy is always the same regardless of the class: build a relationship with the student, provide the highest quality of instruction and gently push them to places they don't think are possible. Year-round Swim Lessons for Children & Adults:

Beginner Swim Programs:

Exploration (6-36 months):
This class is designed for infants with a parent in the pool. The class goal is for the child to move from one point to another on their own bouyancy underwater and to use their arms and legs for propulsion. Songs and games are utilized to stimulate swimming motions and make the class enjoyable for your little one

Aquatot (24-36 months):
This class is for 2 and 3 year olds who are super confident in the water. Students are ready to be in a class without a parent or guardian. We focuPhoto of Swim Classes in San Antonio, TXs on expanding student confidence in the water and introduce basic stroke mechanics.

Bubblemaker I and Bubblemaker II (3-5 years):
This class is designed for beginner swimmers who are 3- 5 years old. The goal is to teach the children to swim independently for 3-5 feet, using their arms and legs as a method of propulsion. Bubblemaker I is for students who are more nervous or timid in the water and Bubblemaker II is for those who are comfortable in the water without a floatation device.

Swim Starter I and Swim Starter II (6 years and older):
This class is for beginner swimmers who are 6 years and older. The class is divided into I and II depending on the students comfort level in the water. Students with a fear of the water will enroll in level I. Students that have not had stroke instruction, but are not fearful of the water, will be assigned to level II. The goal of this level is to gain independence and develop an arm stroke and kick as a method of propulsion.

Intermediate Swim Classes:

Wavecrawler I and Wavecrawler II:
Both classes are designed for swimmers who are able to swim at least 3-5 feet independently. In order to be in level II, swimmers must have an independent breath. In addition to a focus on breathing and stroke technique, treading water and sitting and kneeling dives are introduced. 

Pool Shark I and Pool Shark II:
Pool Shark classes are for students who can swim half of the pool length (12.5 meters) independently utilizing either the breast stroke, back stroke, or freestyle. Swimmers work on the front crawl, backstroke, elementary backstroke, and basic diving techniques.

Advanced Swim Classes:

Waverunner:
Students must be able to swim the front crawl, breast stroke, and backstroke at least one full pool length (25 meters). Swimmers will build edurance, improve technique, and continue to develop non-stroke skills such as diving, treading water, and flip turns.

Aquamaster:
Swimmers able to swim at least 2 laps (50 meters) in the front crawl, back stroke, and breast stroke are suitable for this level. This class is designed for stroke perfection and the introduction of the butterfly. Surface dives are taught and students work on endurance swimming. Class activities also include basic life saving skills.

PreTeam:
The class works on perfecting the butterfly stroke and on building endurance in all strokes. Competitive techniques are taught to prepare the student for our swim team. Water safety and life saving techniques are also highlighted.

Private Lessons for Adults and Children:
Do you or a family member need a little extra attention? Private lessons can be a great way to speed up the learning process or to give a fearful person an easier transistion into their new aquatic environment. These classes are great for students with special needs and physical obsticles. They are also suitable for swimmers who want to refine strokes or learn specific skills such as competitive techniques, diving, etc

Day Care:
In order to participate in this class swimmers must be able to swim at least 3-5 feet independently. The goal in this class is to teach the child to swim 10 feet on their own buoyancy level using arms and legs as a method of propulsion. Proper front crawl is taught as well as the fundamentals of the backstroke.

• Are you searching for a fun summer language camp in Houston TX for your child of Preschool / Kindergarten to 1st Grade Elementary School age?

• Conveniently situated in Rice Village in south-central Houston (close to Downtown), Crossing Borders provides 1 to 10-week Spanish summer camps for kids ages 4, 5 and 6 years old.

• Students attend our summer camps from The Woodlands, Spring, Conroe, Tomball, Humble, Porter, Kingwood, Atascocita, New Caney, Montgomery County, and surrounding Houston area. 

• Crossing Borders provides quality English and Spanish language summer camps for kids and high school teens ages 4-16 years old, as well as German & French summer camps for kids and teens 9-16 years old.

• Offered during the months of June, July and August, our summer language immersion camps are designed to give children & teenagers a unique opportunity to spend their summer break having fun learning or improving in a second or third language.

El Paso Aqua Posse

El Paso Aqua Posse (EPAP) is a year-round competitive swim team that has become one of the most successful swim programs in Texas. The El Paso Aqua Posse founded in 1957, boasts swimmers that range from pre-competition to Olympic Trial Qualifiers by providing an environment which allows for each swimmer to maximize their potential. EPAP has grown into El Paso’s largest and most active swim team drawing members from all geographic sections of the city and Ciudad Juarez, Mexico. We are a proud and contributing member of both USA and Border Swimming.

Swimmers are placed into practice groups based on their skill level, age and commitment to training. The coaches will determine the best practice group for your swimmer and placement will be done with your swimmer's best long-term interests in mind.
EPAP competes on three levels:
- Del Norte League: for ages 12 & under with limited experience
- Invitationals: Locally and out-of-town
- State, Regional, and National Meets: For swimmers who qualify

AquaKids Swim School, Keller

AquaKids Swim School in Keller, a northern suburb of Fort Worth, is a year round learn-to-swim program offering swimming lessons to children of all ages in a safe and friendly environment. Our pool is indoor and heated - sunburn-free. Our teachers use our industry leading AquaSteps program to teach your child how to swim. We also have a school in the Dallas suburb of Flower Mound.

AquaKids prides itself with a highly trained level of swim instructors. All swim instructors are required to hold current CPR certifications and have completed 40 hours of the AquaSteps Swim instructor training. Most instructors are also First Aid and Lifeguard certified as well. In addition, all employees are required to pass a background screen and drug test prior to being hired. All teachers attend monthly in-sessions to keep up-to-date on the latest teaching methods and development within AquaKids.
