• Are you searching for a fun summer language camp in Houston TX for your child of Preschool / Kindergarten to 1st Grade Elementary School age? • Conveniently situated in Rice Village in south-central Houston (close to Downtown), Crossing Borders provides 1 to 10-week Spanish summer camps for kids ages 4, 5 and 6 years old.
• English language immersion camps are also available for non-native English students.
• Children of ages 4-6 are immersed in a second language while using arts & crafts, music, dance, etc. for a hands-on and fun experience!
• All students are taught Spanish in a nurturing environment where a high level of Spanish proficiency is the goal. Based on their ability of the language, students learn grammar, literature, vocabulary, and social skills (that include dance, songs, role playing, traditional games, and board games).
• We focus solely on a full immersion program that helps native and non-native speakers achieve their goals and prepare for the future by mastering a new language.

Camp Huawni

Camp Huawni is a co-educational residential summer camp for boys aged 7 to 15 years and girls aged 7 to 16 years, located in Shelby County in East Texas, between the small towns of Timpson and Center. Started in 1965 and still family-owned / operated today, Camp Huawni offers an overnight summer camp for kids and teens in Texas, with outdoor activities included, as well as sports, adventure and fun.Camp Huawni has been a safe haven for 47 years where children can be themselves and where lifetime friendships begin. Camp Huawni believes in fun, meaningful relationships, being outdoors, personal growth and tradition. Our smaller setting and 3:1 camper to counselor ratio make us unique and allows us to invest purely in relationships that result in true personal growth.
Camp Huawni has a total of four sessions, including 2 two-week sessions and 2 one-week sessions, and limits each session to 130 campers. Many campers enroll in up to 4 sessions, a total of 6 weeks. Camp Huawni is a Christian-based camp but welcomes children from any faith background.
Located in the scenic pine forests of East Texas, we have enabled generations of campers to experience life-changing summers at Camp Huawni.

El Paso Aqua Posse

El Paso Aqua Posse (EPAP) is a year-round competitive swim team that has become one of the most successful swim programs in Texas. The El Paso Aqua Posse founded in 1957, boasts swimmers that range from pre-competition to Olympic Trial Qualifiers by providing an environment which allows for each swimmer to maximize their potential. EPAP has grown into El Paso’s largest and most active swim team drawing members from all geographic sections of the city and Ciudad Juarez, Mexico. We are a proud and contributing member of both USA and Border Swimming.Swimmers are placed into practice groups based on their skill level, age and commitment to training. The coaches will determine the best practice group for your swimmer and placement will be done with your swimmer's best long-term interests in mind.
EPAP competes on three levels:
- Del Norte League: for ages 12 & under with limited experience
- Invitationals: Locally and out-of-town
- State, Regional, and National Meets: For swimmers who qualify

AquaKids Swim School in Keller, a northern suburb of Fort Worth, is a year round learn-to-swim program offering swimming lessons to children of all ages in a safe and friendly environment. Our pool is indoor and heated - sunburn-free. Our teachers use our industry leading AquaSteps program to teach your child how to swim. We also have a school in the Dallas suburb of Flower Mound.AquaKids prides itself with a highly trained level of swim instructors. All swim instructors are required to hold current CPR certifications and have completed 40 hours of the AquaSteps Swim instructor training. Most instructors are also First Aid and Lifeguard certified as well. In addition, all employees are required to pass a background screen and drug test prior to being hired. All teachers attend monthly in-sessions to keep up-to-date on the latest teaching methods and development within AquaKids.
