Charlotte Academy of Music offers private, small group and ensemble music lessons to students ages 4 years through to adult in Charlotte in Mecklenburg County, NC. Our faculty of professional, experienced teachers create a customized lesson program for each individual student based on his / her learning style and goals.

Piano, Guitar, Voice, String, Woodwind, Brass and Percussion instruments are taught at the Academy. Our Music Theory Lab, Vivace Youth Choir of Charlotte, and Academy Chamber Ensemble are unique features of the school. We offer opportunities for evaluation through MTNA, NCMTA, NGPT and Charlotte Piano Teachers Forum.
