Learn Brazilian Portuguese in São Paulo:
Our Portuguese language school is located in the upscale neighborhood of Jardins, blocks away from Paulista Avenue, Sao Paulo’s financial center. The tree-lined streets around the school are full of restaurants, neighborhood bars and nightclubs, as well as parks, with something for everyone and easy to explore.
The biggest city in South America and one of the three largest in the world, São Paulo is considered one of Latin America's most important financial centers. It is the industrial center of Brazil, responsible for over 30% of Brazil's annual GNP, and headquarters to the majority of Brazilian and multinational corporations.
Brazilian Portuguese Courses:
Fast Forward Language Institute offers group and private general language instruction, from absolute beginner to advanced levels.
Group Instruction:
Maximum of 6 students per class. Classes begin on any Monday for intermediate students (once a month for beginners), and are held Monday through Friday.
- Intensive: 4 classes of 50 minutes every morning.
- Super-Intensive: 6 classes of 50 minutes every morning and afternoon.
Private Instruction:
Offered for beginners, advanced, and professionals with specific needs. Classes start any Monday, and are held Monday through Friday.
- Intensive: 4 classes of 50 minutes every morning.
- Super-Intensive: 10 classes of 50 minutes every morning and afternoon. Ideal for professionals with little time. Includes lunch with professor. Classes conducted in various locations.
- Executive: 6 classes of 50 minutes every morning and afternoon. Specifically focused on business terminology. Includes lunch with professor.
We also offer preparation courses for the CELPE-BRAS exam.
Our Teachers:
All of our teachers are native speakers, university graduates and trained in Fast Forward’s direct approach to language teaching. We work with our own teaching methods, aimed at students’ total cultural immersion.

Our school is conveniently located in the business center of Rio, with easy access via public transportation to any place in the city. The brand new facilities offer comfortably furnished and well-equipped classrooms with DVD players & TVs. Students also have access to phone and fax services, as well as e-mail & free Internet. The central location allows students to leave for a walk after class to the historical center of the city. Our location is also great for "Live Portuguese" classes. In these classes, students carry out everyday tasks in Portuguese.
Immersion (8 hours of individual instruction per day), Group classes (4-6hrs/day with 4 students), Group + (regular Group class with 2 hrs of private classes in the afternoon. Guided excursions to different points of interest in Rio de Janeiro with one of our teachers. Homestay programs are available.
