Situated just a few blocks from the world famous Ipanema Beach and close to Copacabana, Caminhos Language Centre is the largest and most exciting Portuguese school in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. We offer high quality Portuguese courses for adults and children in a relaxed and fun environment. Our Brazilian teachers are carefully selected university graduates.

Our methodology is based on the communicative approach and we offer unique course material. Our school is also famous for supporting Brazilian children. The schools has its own social programme called 'Mais Caminhos'.

During the group course, students learned about fruits and did a fruit salad competition. You learn portuguese while having fun in a relaxed environment!


 

Caminhos Language Centre is located only a few blocks from the famous Ipanema beach where many students go after class and also where we play beach volleyball every Monday.

The brand new facilities offer comfortably furnished and well-equipped classrooms with DVD players & TVs. Students also have access to phone and fax services, as well as e-mail & free Internet. The central location allows students to leave for a walk after class to the historical center of the city. Our location is also great for "Live Portuguese" classes. In these classes, students carry out everyday tasks in Portuguese.
Immersion (8 hours of individual instruction per day), Group classes (4-6hrs/day with 4 students), Group + (regular Group class with 2 hrs of private classes in the afternoon. Guided excursions to different points of interest in Rio de Janeiro with one of our teachers. Homestay programs are available.
