What is multiage education?
A classroom is "multiage" when it is deliberately grouped across age levels instead of chronological age. Children of different ages (at least a two year span) and ability levels are grouped together without dividing them into groups that are designated by grade levels. Whenever possible students remain in the same classroom with the same teacher for two years.

Queens Lutheran School students consistently score above the national and local average on standardized and New York State tests. Our students often qualify as area and regional finalists in spelling contests and in other challenges. Our eighth grade students are well prepared for their high school entrance exams and score well on the Catholic Cooperative Exam and specialized high school test. Many of our students qualify for acceptance to prestigious high schools and continue to excel throughout their high school experience due to the fine educational foundation they received at our school. Recently five students were accepted at Brooklyn Technical High School, five at St. Francis Prep School, one at Townsend Harris High School, one at Information Technology High School and several received full scholarships.

EL TALLER LATINO AMERICANO (The Latin American Workshop) is a non-profit arts and education organization in New York City. We offer year round art and music workshops for children. El Taller also has a 22-year history of being the musical home in New York for musicians from all over the Americas. Our Artistic Director Bernardo Palombo is a composer, performer and impresario who has brought some of the greatest names in American music to El Taller including: Mercedes Sosa, Philip Glass, David Byrne, Leon Gieco, Atahualpa Yupanqui and many more. At our art classes, children can enjoy engaging in different techniques and processes while exploring their own abilities and aesthetic. Different processes that are explored include painting, drawing, sculpture, collage and multimedia projects. Our music classes which take place at our center or your school or other choice of location bring the room to life, with exciting instruments from different countries of South America including learning the instruments, rhythms and dances of the Peruvian coast.

Language Workshop For Children offers language immersion programs in NYC Upper East Side, West Side and SoHo. Language Workshop For Children is a place where toddlers 6 months to 3 years and children 3 to 9 years meet through a fun immersion play group to learn French, Spanish, English, Italian and Chinese. Children learn languages through the LWFC’s Thibaut Technique®. In Thibaut Technique classes kids learn naturally, not by translating. First they hear, then they understand, and finally they speak in that language.

Located in the heart of Manhattan's Upper West Side, Mis Amiguitos Spanish Montessori Nursery & Preschool offers a bilingual Spanish Montessori program for students ages 3 months to 5 years.
