Summer Music Camp in Italy for High School Students
Musica Vesuviana Festival - Italy Summer Camp:
Musica Vesuviana (MV) offers an international summer music program in Italy for Italian and American student instrumentalists and vocalists of high school age. This 2-week camp takes place at the Fondazione Passarelli in Salerno, south-western Italy. Salerno is situated less than 30 miles south of Naples and 145 miles south of Rome. Musica Vesuviana´s curriculum includes an eclectic mix of American and Italian music and musical styles, taught by American and native master teachers. The classes will be taught in English. However, all students will immerse themselves in daily lessons of conversational Italian language taught by a native instructor. Financial aid and payment plans may be available for students who qualify.

The program will be held at the Fondazione Passarelli Institute, in the town of San Marco in Salerno. San Marco offers the charm of the genuine small fishing village. Being situated in one of Italy's most historic towns presents students and staff with a vast array of cultural, academic, and musical offerings.
The Institute runs a fully functioning academic and residential facility for the pursuit of cultural studies. The complex includes hotel, dining hall, auditoriums, classrooms, practice rooms, private beach, tennis courts, volleyball and soccer fields.
Quality Summer Music Camp for Teenagers:
Any student who is interested in music, whether it is Classical, Gospel, Jazz, Rock, Pop, or Contemporary would thrive at Musica Vesuviana. All students will be involved in performances at the institute as well as in the surrounding communities, where they will be able to share their music. However, the appeal of our summer program goes beyond music training as it also provides students with an immersion in all things Italian: language, travel to famous places (including Pompeii and Rome) and let's not forget Italian food! Students will have the opportunity to meet and make music with students from other states and countries.
As we are based in Massachusetts, our departure is from Boston's Logan Airport where students are accompanied by all the staff members. Upon our arrival in Naples, we will be met by an air-conditioned coach that will transport us and our luggage to the Fondazione Passarelli.

Abbey Road Programs has teamed up with the Princeton Review to offer high school students in Grades 9-12 the opportunity to stay one step ahead of the college admissions process. Our College Admissions ACT/SAT Test Prep summer course is a two or four week intensive test and admissions program designed to tackle the parts of the admissions process that most determine your success when applying to and making the transition to college. These include Standardized testing, Essay writing, the Common Application, the college selection process, and navigating residential life on campus.

The Young Artist Residency Program (YAR) at The Art Institute of Boston (AIB) at Lesley University in Boston, MA is designed for high school students who will be entering their junior or senior year in the Fall. This intensive summer art residency program consists of 4 weeks of classes, and art-making is designed to offer a professional art college experience.
Strengthen your portfolio and become the artist you were meant to be through our Young Artist Residency program. Learn the high-tech side of art-making by gaining experience with state-of-the-art computer software and hardware. Lawrence Academy in Groton, (35 miles northwest of Boston) is a traditional New England prep school offering 2-4 week residential Mandarin, Italian, Spanish, and French language Summer Immersion Programs to American students in 7th-12th grades. Study Mandarin, Italian, French, or Spanish while living on campus alongside international students learning English and experiencing American culture. Prior language knowledge is not required for American students.Mornings are spent language classes. In the afternoon, students participate in off-campus and on-campus cultural and sports activities. They practice their language skills with new friends while participating in evening language enrichment activities (skits or talent shows, bowling, mini-golf, etc.).
