Abbey Road Programs:
Abbey Road Programs has teamed up with the Princeton Review to offer high school students in Grades 9-12 the opportunity to stay one step ahead of the college admissions process. Our residential College Admissions ACT/SAT Test Prep summer course is a two or four week intensive test and admissions program designed to tackle the parts of the admissions process that most determine your success when applying to and making the transition to college. These include Standardized testing, Essay writing, the Common Application, the college selection process, and navigating residential life on campus.

Standardized Test Preparation with The Princeton Review
The Princeton Review is an industry leader in test preparation and their test prep professionals facilitate this portion of the College-prep program. Daily classes in SAT or ACT prep and four full-length practice tests are designed to help you achieve your best scores. They also offer our students their Satisfaction Guarantee and Fall Wrap-Up, an extra prep session free of charge the fall before you take your test.
The Common Application
Does the formula essays + forms + short-answer questions not equal your recipe for fun? Well, we would like to offer this solution: An afternoon class with a college counseling professional whose sole purpose is to use their background in English and experience with admissions to make your college application shine with your particular brand of awesomeness.
You can expect to leave our program with 1-3 (depending on how far along you are in the process upon arrival) Common Application essays and short answer questions completed aka ready to submit!
The College Selection Process: Counseling and Campus Visits
Applying to college is much more than crafting a great essay. Depending on where you apply you will need to submit a resume, work sample(s) and you may need to sit for an interview with an admissions representative. Not to mention selecting the best schools to fit your goals…Not a problem. We have this covered.
Things like resume crafting workshops, mock-interviews, and identifying
and comparing financial aid packages and scholarship opportunities are all offered optionally during the program. And in regards to selecting schools? Boston is the optimal location for campus visits.
Even if you are not interested in applying to Boston University, Tufts, U. Mass Amherst, Babson, Northeastern or M.I.T., preparing for a campus visit (knowing what questions to ask, what to look for, when to go, and who to talk to) are vital skills our weekly campus visits will help you acquire.

- Accredited Continuing Education Units are available from all iD Academy locations. Students may register for these children's summer camps for one or several weeks.
LOOP Abroad is an exclusive study abroad summer program for high school students between the ages of 15 and 18. We spend 2 days in Boston, MA before leaving for Thailand.This summer's program is focused on ecology and conservation, and will take place in Chiang Mai, Thailand. Chiang Mai offers a chance to explore authentic Thai culture and fantastically diverse national parks, while still having modern amenities and world-class health facilities close at hand. Twenty students will live with eight faculty in a private hostel in a gated community.
During the day, the group will explore national parks, mountains, rain forests, and caves, and will publish their findings in an online wiki. Thai language classes, visits to city sites, yoga classes, and other cultural activities fill the rest of our weekdays. Faculty will help students to compose college essays about their experiences. A leadership curriculum is offered.
On the weekends, we head to activities like zip-lining, the tiger nursery, go-karts, the rooftop pool, thai cooking, and Muay Thai.. Highlights include a week living at the Elephant Nature Park and a four-day trek, staying overnight with the Karen Hill Tribe people.
Lawrence Academy in Groton, (35 miles northwest of Boston) is a traditional New England prep school offering 2-4 week residential Mandarin, Italian, Spanish, and French language Summer Immersion Programs to American students in 7th-12th grades. Study Mandarin, Italian, French, or Spanish while living on campus alongside international students learning English and experiencing American culture. Prior language knowledge is not required for American students.Mornings are spent language classes. In the afternoon, students participate in off-campus and on-campus cultural and sports activities. They practice their language skills with new friends while participating in evening language enrichment activities (skits or talent shows, bowling, mini-golf, etc.). Weekend excursions to Boston, NYC, the beach, or an amusement park allow for additional opportunities to practice language skills and develop lifelong friendships.
Students live in Lawrence Academy dormitories with international roommates and share their meals in the dining hall. This program is a true international cultural immersion experience.

Musica Vesuviana (MV) offers an international summer music program in Italy for Italian and American student instrumentalists and vocalists of high school age. This 2-week camp takes place at the Fondazione Passarelli in Salerno, south-western Italy. Salerno is situated less than 30 miles south of Naples and 145 miles south of Rome.Musica Vesuviana´s curriculum includes an eclectic mix of American and Italian music and musical styles, taught by American and native master teachers. All students will be involved in performances at the institute as well as in the surrounding communities, where they will be able to share their music as well immerse themselves in the rich and varied artistic culture that Italy has to offer.
Any student who is interested in music, whether it is Classical, Gospel, Jazz, Rock, Pop, or Contemporary would thrive at Musica Vesuviana. Students will have the opportunity to meet and make music with students from other states and countries. The classes will be taught in English. However, all students will immerse themselves in daily lessons of conversational Italian language taught by a native instructor.
As we are based in Massachusetts, our departure is from Boston's Logan Airport where students are accompanied by all the staff members. Upon our arrival in Naples, we will be met by an air-conditioned coach that will transport us and our luggage to the Fondazione Passarelli.
