Mackillop College: Welcome to MacKillop College, an all-girls Catholic boarding and day school of 600 students located in Bathurst, NSW, 100 km west of Katoomba and 200 km west of Sydney. The College boasts a wide range of computers with various operating systems and different qualities. The computers have been continuously updated over the last several years with help from the National Secondary School Computer Fund for upgrading Information Technology across campus. Students have access to:
* 22 state-of-the-art Apple iMac computers with industry standard programs.
* 98 MacBook laptops which are organised into seven labs, one for each KLA (Key Learning Areas), and stored in easy to transport trolleys for use in general computing tasks anywhere throughout the College;
* 13 Pentium 4 PC’s are located at the Perthville Boarding House to enable boarders access to computers for out of school hours study.
Boarding:
The Sisters of St Joseph have traditionally provided boarding opportunities at St Joseph's, Perthville, 7km form Bathurst, following the spirit of Blessed Mary MacKillop's determination to offer young women the opportunity of a Catholic education.
