Loreto Normanhurst is an independent Catholic secondary boarding and day school for girls established in 1897 and situated in Normanhurst, Sydney, NSW. The school has an excellent reputation in all areas of achievement. The Boarding School is home to 188 boarding girls from country NSW and other areas of Australia, with 905 students in total.

Secondary school education for girls in years 7-12. Students have the opportunity to participate in a diverse range of Co-curricular activities.

The NSW Board of Studies determines mandatory courses that all secondary schools in the state must complete. Additionally here at Loreto Normanhurst students have the opportunity to study a range of electives from Years 9 to 12, ranging from the creative arts to languages, humanities and sports sciences.

Students also study school based courses which are credentialed on the School Certificate. They are courses that have been developed at the school and approved by the Board of Studies. One of these courses is a Religious Education course that is grounded in Ignatian spirituality as well as incorporating a comparative religions course. Another school based course is Integrated Learning. In Integrated Learning students undertake, through a series of tasks that focus on real world situations, to develop the skills of independent and life long learning. These skills focus on the effective use of ICT, a range of literacies from word literacy to critical literacy, and the development of EQ skills.
