Berlin Cosmopolitan School (BCS):
Berlin Cosmopolitan School (BCS) is an international school with a focus on sciences, sports and arts in the heart of Berlin. We offer Kindergarten and Preschool as well as Primary and Secondary School (Gymnasium), state authorized Primary School Nr. 01P22 & Secondary School Nr. 01P30. As a Candidate International Baccalaureate World School BCS follows the curriculum of the IB Programme. Students may graduate with an IB Diploma and/or a German Abitur. We encourage our students to become active and responsible citizens of the world. This includes strong academics, multilingualism and the development of social and intercultural skills.
Kindergarten & Preschool
Learning objectives are developed by the Kindergarten & Preschool team and support the Primary Years Programme, which children take part in from age three. They are influenced by the Berliner Bildungsprogramm and the British “Early Years Foundation Stage”.
The Primary Years Programme provides an international pedagogical framework for children from the age of 3-12 year.
It celebrates and nurtures the natural curiosity with which children use to investigate their world. Teachers provide an exciting and challenging learning environment in which childrens questions drive their inquiry. As a class, in groups and as individuals, they find answers to their questions. Our aim at BCS is to help children to develop skills, knowledge and attitudes, which make them life-long independent and enthusiastic learners.
Primary School
Learning objectives support the Primary Years Programme and the Berliner Rahmenplan. It focuses on the total growth of the developing child, encompass
ing social, physical, emotional and cultural needs in addition to academic development. The PYP draws on research and best practice from a range of national systems with a wealth of knowledge and experience from international schools to create a relevant, engaging, challenging and significant educational framework for all children.
Secondary School (Gymnasium)
Learning objectives support the Berliner Rahmenplan and lead to the IB Diploma Programme and/or the German Abitur. The IB Diploma Programme is a demanding two year course of studies designed for highly motivated secondary school students between the ages of 16 and 19 years. Its reputation for rigorous assessment gives IB diploma graduates access to the world's leading universities and solid preparation for high achievement once enrolled.

Phorms Education in Munich in the Bavarian region of Southern Germany offers whole-day bilingual education in German and English for nursery school, primary school and secondary school. Our private school is housed in a wonderful building in the Bogenhausen district of Munich.We place great value in offering our students individual and intensive support. Our teachers also encourage the children to take part in extra-curricular activities such as music, Olympics training and reading competitions as well as the “Children’s University” operated by Munich University. We support our grammar school students by providing an individual mentoring programme.
Alongside this individual activities, we also attach great importance to the comprehensive bilingual education the children receive. Our students become fully fluent in both German and English. The Frankfurt International School (FIS), located just outside of Frankfurt and founded in 1961, is an independent, co-educational day school, which offers an educational program for students of all nationalities. Frankfurt International School (FIS) together with the International School Wiesbaden (ISW) is the largest and second oldest international school in Germany. The school is organized into four school divisions: the Primary Division age 3 to Grade 1, the Elementary Division Grades 2-5, and the Upper School Grades 6-12, all of which are in Oberursel.
The International School Wiesbaden (ISW) operates as a branch of FIS at a separate campus in Wiesbaden for students age 3 to Grade 8.
FIS is recognised as an allgemein bildende Ergänzungsschule. It is an International Baccalaureate (IB) World School and a founding member of the Organisation.
There are currently almost 1800 students from 55 different countries attending FIS and ISW, including roughly 30% American, 19% German, 8% British, 4% Japanese,and 12% Korean. It employs over 300 well-qualified and experienced faculty and staff from almost 30 different countries.

Landesschule Pforta is a Grade 9-12 German boarding school with a long tradition and special concept of furthering talented students in languages, music and natural sciences. Situated close to the cities of Leipzig and Naumburg in eastern Germany, instruction is through German, and every student has to choose one of three centers of interest: Foreign Languages, Music or Natural Sciences. At Pforta, about 400 students from all parts of Germany live and learn from the 9th to the 12th grade, i.e. from the age of 14 to 18. Our boarding houses do not offer merely accommodation for those students who live too far away to go home every day, but also a safe and secure living and learning environment.
Conditions of admission include good performances at school, social involvement, and passing the entrance examination. The school-leaving certificate (Abitur) prepares graduates for university study.
The aim of our education program is not the constriction of one-sided specialization, but rather the broadening of general higher education in a field where individual interest and capabilities motivate to additional efforts and higher performances.
