Our school is situated in a quiet side street in the Holzhausen district, a leafy residential area near Frankfurt city centre and in the immediate vicinity of the idyllic Holzhausen Park. We are located in one of the most international and culturally interesting metropolises in Germany. This is a privilege from which we regularly benefit in the work we undertake with our students.
Frankfurt offers a plethora of ideas for project-related teaching, artistic and architectural excursions and the study of history, technology and science in the form of attractions such as the Museum District, the Frankfurt Zoo and the Palmengarten, and our teaching staff make full use of these opportunities. At the same time, the quiet and leafy Holzhausen District creates ideal conditions for concentrated and detailed learning.

Founded in 2000 by the state government of Berlin, Nelson Mandela School is an international comprehensive school in Berlin, providing quality bilingual education in grades 1-13 to children from a wide variety of backgrounds. We have two locations in Berlin, both are centrally located in the inner-city boroughs of Charlottenburg and Wilmersdorf: Our primary campus is located on Pfalzburger Street (Wilmersdorf) and our secondary campus is located at Kastanienallee (Charlottenburg).Our school is a member of UNESCO’s Associated Schools Project, the European Council of International Schools and the International Baccalaureate Organisation.
