Periplus Home Education:
Based in London, Periplus Home Education is a not-for–profit organisation that provides high-quality, accessible learning solutions for young people aged 11-18 in the UK and overseas. We offer live, on-line teaching to groups and individuals and can provide online tuition in individual subjects at any level or a full taught secondary school curriculum leading to examinations if required. In addition, we offer intensive, short-term tuition prior to examinations. Our teachers are subject specialists and fully qualified in the UK.

At Key stage 3 (11-14 years) the courses are based on the content of the UK National Curriculum. They do not lead to any form of examination, though assessment is integral to the course. At Key Stage 4 (14-16) our courses are based on the International GCSE (IGCSE) syllabuses from Edexcel. However, while IGCSE is offered as default, if you are already following GCSE’s from other boards, we may be able to accommodate you.

- KS3 premium - As for KS3 core + ICT and a Modern Language
- KS4 core - Group tuition in English, Maths & Science. Includes access to subject specific resources and forums + social forum
- KS4 Bacc - As for KS4 core + Humanity and Language
Online tuition in individual subjects:
Join on-line classes for KS3 or KS4 modular programmes of study. You can join for the whole course or individual modules or for a range of subjects.
Subjects offered include:
English Language and Literature (+ English as a foreign/second/additional language available); Science (including separate sciences or double award at KS4); Mathematics; Geography; History; ICT; Music; Spanish; French; Latin; Russian; Greek. All the courses are modular and each module is typically 6 weeks, with 6 modules per year. This ensures that students can join classes at any point in the course.

Lesson Schedule:
A lesson is typically around 40 minutes long and the teacher will cover the learning objectives and check for understanding. Lessons are scheduled at various times of day to meet the needs of the students, but we also need to coordinate the availability of the tutors and the formation of cohesive groups to ensure we maintain our very competitive prices.
To cover the curriculum, we offer 4 lessons of Science per week, 3 lessons of Maths and English and 2 lessons in most other subjects. In Science we use animations and video to cover all practical requirements. At the end of every lesson, follow up activities will be suggested and appropriate tasks will be set which will be checked for completion and if required can be submitted for assessment.

Thomas's London Day Schools are a group of family run, co-educational schools for children from the ages of two and a half to thirteen. Fulneck School is an Independent School offering nursery, junior, senior and sixth form programmes. Fulneck School is located in Leeds, West Yorkshire, which is 50 minutes from Manchester in the North of England. The school is placed in a prime location for both commuters and boarding pupils. Spratton Hall is an independent co-educational Pre-Prep and Prep School in Northamptonshire in the East Midlands, UK.
