The Baden-Powell Institute is located in central Mexico, in Morelia, a beautiful city with a lot of history, culture, architecture and charm. The Baden-Powell Institute was founded in 1987 and offers Spanish language courses for students from abroad as well as English language courses for Mexican students. Our school is attended by persons of all ages. The school, built in the architectural style of Mexico, has 21 classrooms as well as 3 patios. Due to its central location, all sights are within walking distance.

Location:
Morelia is a jewel to be discovered in Colonial Mexico. Morelia, (1950 meters above sea-level), capital of the Mexican state Michoacan, was founded in 1541 and is now the cultural center and university town of the region. It was classified as an historical monument by the UNESCO. Buildings from the Colonial Era with typical colorful inner courtyards, many historical sights worth seeing, a variety of cultural events (theaters, concerts, folklore, cinemas...), a pleasant climate throughout the year (17º to 28º C), the hospitality of the local population, an exciting night life (bars, discos, restaurants...), very conveniently situated (located at short distance from Mexico City, Guadalajara, Guanajuato, and San Miguel de Allende)- these are the features that distinguish Morelia from other cities.

The Language Immersion School offers Spanish immersion programs in Veracruz on the Gulf of Mexico for beginner, intermediate and advanced students. We are an American owned and operated school. We also offer English language courses.Spanish immersion using our highly successful, non-traditional approach gets you using your Spanish within a day or two of beginning class. If you’ve had no prior Spanish, you’ll be carrying on survival conversation in days. If you’re at a medium or advanced level, your functional conversational level will skyrocket. You’ll automatically begin adding tenses and complexity to your speaking.

Experienceia: Centro De Intercambio Bilingue Y Cultural Spanish Immersion Language School - Our program emphasizes a balance of structured language learning and in vivo conversational language acquisition including an extensive evening program available to all students at no extra charge. We also include a Saturday excursion when 6 or more students are signed up. Students pay any entry fees. The Experiencia Spanish School program has more included hours for the price than any other program that we know of. We also have on campus housing as well as homestay family accommodations. We have a good mix of international students, not just students from the United States.
We have both small group and private classes as well as combination classes available. We are able to work with teachers and others bringing groups to individualize your program and provide discounts.
