Baden-Powell Instiute:
The Baden-Powell Institute is located in central Mexico, in Morelia, a beautiful city with a lot of history, culture, architecture and charm. The Baden-Powell Institute was founded in 1987 and offers Spanish language courses for students from abroad as well as English language courses for Mexican students. Our school is attended by persons of all ages. The school, built in the architectural style of Mexico, has 21 classrooms as well as 3 patios. Due to its central location, all sights are within walking distance.

One-to-One
For students who prefer to have the teachers attention all to themselves, private instruction is the choice. In this type of class, it is possible for a teacher to focus on all of your individual needs. You have substantial influence over what is covered in class and advance at your own pace. This course type is highly successful. With 4 private lessons per day and the necessary commitment, you will acquire knowledge similar to that of several years of group instruction with two lessons per week. At the beginning of the program, the student will take a classification exam to determine whether the class should begin at the beginning, intermediate, advanced or superior level. Contents: Conversation, reading, grammar, exercises, Contents can adapt to individual preferences. Number of lessons: 1 to 8 a day. Experience has shown that students have best results when taking a minimum of four lessons a day and follow a course or four weeks. 

Groups (2 to 6 students/class)
For those who prefer to interact with other students during class hour, we also offer group instruction. This is an excellent option if you want to spend less on Spanish lessons and can adapt to a “group pace.” Group lessons are possible with a sufficient number of participants (2 to 6 persons) having similar language skills.

Target group: Students from the age of 16 and up.
Duration: 1 week but you can take as many weeks as you wish.
Starting dates: We open group lessons every Monday.
Number of lessons: 4 lessons in a group per day, Monday to Friday.
Levels: Beginners, low-intermediate, high intermediate, low-advanced, advanced and superior.

Contents: Conversation, reading, grammar and exercises.
 

High-School
For fixed groups (minimum 2 people), we organize a stay in Mexico, including travel preparations, advice, and excursions.

Target group: High school students from the age of 16 and up.
Duration: Any number of weeks.
Lessons: 4 lessons in a group per day, Monday to Friday (3 are Spanish classes and 1 is a history, cooking and arts and crafts class).
Levels: From beginners' up to advanced courses.

Contents: Conversation, reading, grammar and exercises.
The course program is especially adapted to students' previous knowledge and to the syllabus of the next school year. Mexican history and culture are included in the course.
