Home Stay
You will immerse yourself in the convivial atmosphere of a Mexican family. It gives you the chance to really get the maximum from your classes. Mexican families are quite large and you usually get to know many nephews and cousins. 'La Mama' is always a great cook.
The family houses are located downtown. They include a private bedroom, change of towels and bedclothes, the use of a bathroom (in some cases you will have a private one), the use of the kitchen, living room, patio, garden or balcony.
You can receive phone calls, but you can't make them (but you can do it at the school). Of course you will have to follow the few rules of the family; however you will have considerable freedom. You will have your own keys, so you can come and go as you please.
Private Apartment - live in a cosy residence
If you prefer to have your own place and intimacy, surrounded by a magnificent garden and patios, the best option for you is to rent an apartment. There are 8 irresistible apartments that are located one block from the school. Each of them is unique and has been decorated in a charming mix of Mexican - Western art.
A very comfortable bedroom with fireplace and a marvelous fully furnished kitchen wait for you! The price includes TV with cable, the finest towels and bedclothes. Highly recommended!
San Cristóbal is one of those places you can't miss while traveling through Latin America. It's a mixture of both traditional Maya culture and cosmopolitanism within a colorful and lively colonial town. The combination of thriving indigenous customs and the modernity of bohemian Mexico gives the town a fresh and intoxicating atmosphere. In addition, the best live music in the area plays nightly in bars, cafés, parks and restaurants.
Surrounded by green mountains, San Cristóbal is located in Chiapas, one of the regions with the most biodiversity in the world. The town sits on the door step of natural parks, lagoons, epic Maya archeological sites, mangroves, waterfalls, canyons...
Lost in Mother Nature, San Cristóbal still has most modern comforts and commodities. In addition, the town is conveniently well-linked to all major Mexican cities.

A small language center located in a major port in Northwestern Mexico just below the Tropic of Cancer, in Mazatlan, the home port for a huge commercial and sportfishing fleet.
