The teacher training centre in Auckland was established in 1984. They have offered teacher training courses since 1993. The centre is conveniently located near the heart of downtown Auckland, just two blocks from Queen Street.
The Teacher Training Department has its own independent premises within the complex with four classrooms and a library exclusively for teachers in training. The school is well resourced and includes a spacious self-study centre with computer and Internet access.
