Alaya International Training Centre (ATC) is a specialized ESL English teacher training school based in the centre of Vancouver, BC. We offer online and classroom-based TESOL Certificate and Diploma programs. We pride ourselves on our experience and determination in providing top quality TESOL programs. The in-class TESOL teacher training programs are aimed at upper-intermediate to advanced level international students and Canadians who want to learn how to teach English to speakers of other languages.

- Online TESOL programs:
The Online TESOL teacher training programs are distance education programs that can be completed from anywhere in the world.

* Students can choose between our fully recognised Certificate Programs (approximately 50 hours) and Diploma Programs (approximately 100 hours)

Students at ATC can enjoy a free language and culture exchange program. This program is run by students for students. TESOL students have the opportunity to teach their native languge and sharpen their teaching skills as well as learn other languages from other students in a classroom setting. Some of our popular language classes have been Spanish, French, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Chinese, and Russian. We also have culture classes where students teach other students about their own cultures.

Activities with International Friends:
Join us for fun activities with international friends. Some of our activities include hiking, bowling, swimming, billiards, and more.

Accommodation:
ATC provides international students with homestays in Canadian families during their stay in Vancouver. Selected host families provide a furnished room, three meals a day, a supportive English-speaking environment, and exposure to a rich, diverse Canadian culture.

It was new and exciting for me to study from a teacher's point of view. I learned a lot in class, but the teacher is the best example of how to teach.
