Canada College:
Located in Montreal, Quebec, the major aim at Canada College is to provide the latest methods of teaching and course material for our students and students studying at our affiliated schools in different countries. We provide TESOL Certificate and Diploma programs designed for international teachers of English as a Foreign Language who want to continue their professional development, for professional in Canada, considering a career change, and for recent college graduates who want to travel and teach abroad.

6-Week TESOL Certificate Program:
This course provides an integrated curriculum of courses, workshop, and supervised student teaching organized around six, one-week units. Certificate candidates receive intensive academic training and take part in relevant professional and cultural experiences, all within the six week period of instruction.

290-hour TESOL Diploma Program:
Our TESOL Diploma program is a 290-hour course for more experienced English teachers. Students who have already completed our TESOL Certification are eligible to enroll into our Diploma program. Courses already completed during their certification will be taken into account.

International Students:
In most cases, since the program is less than six months long, you do not need to apply for a student visa; a visiting visa would be enough.

• Visa processing takes several weeks, so we suggest you apply to the program at least 6 months before the program starts.

If your English proficiency is not at the level to enroll in the TESOL program, you may take certain English courses and pass the requirement stipulated by TESL CANADA prior to registration in the TESOL Certificate Program.
