In this program you will learn the fundamentals of web design and the skills needed for an MS Office specialist certification. Upon graduation you will have developed a website of your own.
- Web & Graphic Design
The Internet is advancing at a faster pace than perhaps any other technology we know of. WAG1 (Web And Graphic Design) at Thinnox is for creative individuals who want to learn how to build a website from scratch using industry standard, cutting edge tools. The course has two major components. Web design deals mainly with the creation of a website using a variety of tools and resources. The Graphic aspect of the course deals with the creation of assets required for the website including, but not limited to, logos, brand assets and digital art.
- Web & Graphic Design Advanced:
So you know how to design a website! Experts believe that the web technology is still in its adolescence and is evolving on a daily basis. After mastering the fundamentals of web and graphic design, in this course, you learn to create a dynamic, eCommerce based, search engine-optimized website that only equips you with all the hottest skills but also helps you steer your website ahead in the internet-centric marketplace.
- Web for Commerce:
This course is for individuals who can design a static or dynamic website and want to add e-Commerce functionality; they want to master search engine optimization and develop proactive solutions to make the best of their web-traffic.
- Flash Animation
Flash is back with a bang and according to trade pundits it is here to stay. In this immersive course you'll learn how to draw simple but compelling characters; bring them to life by providing them with expression and emotion; set them to motion by using motion blurs, selective animation, and speed lines. You will explore the critical issue of how and when to tween, and when to animate frame-by-frame. You will learn to write a story, sketch and animate a storyboard in Flash, and plan your "camera" shots and techniques. Finally you will learn to transform your animated storyboard into a fully-featured animation. By the end of the course you will have a 30-second animated sequence with a soundtrack.
- Flash Animation Adv:
This supplemental to the Flash Animation course will introduce you to programming as a creative tool for digital image and audio processes. You will learn to design, assemble and develop a multimedia application using Actionscript.
- Java for Web:
This course is for those individuals who want to develop applications for the web. You can find web applications everywhere on the Internet. Many of these web applications are used to process online forms, tally opinion polls, take orders within online stores, allow users to book a service, or simply to display the user's login name. Which Java technologies do you need to create a web application? The answer depends on what kind of application you're building and what it does.
- XML for Web:
XML is a complement to HTML. In most web applications, XML is used to transport data, while HTML is used to format and display the data. This course provides an overview to that XML landscape and is geared to non technical, business people with some understanding of HTML, JavaScript and Java. In this course you gain an understanding of XML and its relationship to Common Gateway Interface (CGI), HTML, JavaScript, and Java. XML extends the markup capabilities of HTML and offers a powerful edge to web developers that you must acquire.
- CMS:
In this Content Management course you learn the fundamentals of PHP programming and build a dynamic, database driven e-commerce web site using a popular Content Management application and the PHP programming language. Since PHP is a task-specific language, the course covers the most important range of functions in depth, and equips you to understand the remaining less essential aspects..
