Students work towards individual graduation projects in any genre of their choosing under instructor mentorship and prepare festival packages to accompany their films.
Students receive career guidance and take the BC Film Orientation Industry Certificate. Graduates benefit from our connections to local film organizations and instructor contacts and remain part of our “growing” film community, gain access to incoming job offers and work on past students up coming productions. The program gives students up-to-date training in all film genres as well as the necessary creative and technical skills to gain entry-level positions in the film industry, pursue independent film projects, continue their education onto advanced programs or for educational purposes.

During this intensive and practical program you will collaborate on a variety of projects, shoot and edit films again and again whilst developing your own final project. You will pitch your film to Industry professionals and come away with a graduation film. Many of our students have gone on to set up their own production companies, receive funding from the National Film Board, develop projects with outside agencies and TV networks.
