Capital Vin are professionnals of wine knowledge and also wine makers in Languedoc (South of France). We established our wine school 5 years ago offering courses for those in charge of referencing, advising and selling wine. Our Learning Director is an Oenologist and also a Tasting Teacher. We work with specialists in wine marketing and selling, Sommeliers and provide online and in-person courses for big distribution companies, beverage distribution companies, hotel groups. and more.
For Beginners, Professionals, Connoisseurs, Wine Lovers or Everyone interested in Wine, we have created a high quality online course. This is very useful to understand the basis of Wine Culture, as it explains in detail the Wine World, with a special focus on French Wine organization, regions and wine styles. Thus, the student can learn all the necessary theory before entering and discovering the art of wine tasting. We consider it the right way for progress, as you can't play music without learning the rules first. Our different learning units are organized in a logical and progressive way to provide success, and we provide constant online assistance to the learner.
Following on from our introductory online course, we offer in-person wine courses for big distribution companies, beverage distribution companies, hotel groups. and more.
We offer 3 levels course:
1. Online course - "The Basis of Wine Culture". 13 Units, for a total of 7 hours, to be trained in an economical and comfortable way. Progress and questions of the students are followed and answered online by our Managing Teacher.
2. When succeeding to the final quiz the Student can register to Level 2 "Tasting Wine", physical courses
3. Level 3 is the ultimate and advanced level at the end of which one can obtain our "French Wine Knowledge - Capital Vin" Diploma
Our online course (level 1) is suitable for anyone looking for knowing more about wine (in French) and we'll be happy to inform you.
Our levels 2 and 3 (physical class) can be organised either in France or anywhere if a sufficent group is existing (at least 20 persons at the same place and time). These courses can be held in French or English.
