INSA Lyon:
One of the top French engineering universities, INSA Lyon (Institut National des Sciences Appliquées de Lyon), multidisciplinary and international, is at the heart of the European Higher Education Area. INSA Lyon is a comprehensive University of Science and Technology with post-baccalauréat (A-Levels) admission. The five year curriculum aims at training engineers who possess humane qualities and multiple competences in 12 specialised fields. Each year, some 900 students obtain the INSA Lyon Master of Engineering Degree. The Engineering Profession:

Engineers play an important role in progress as they are highly qualified in sciences and technology. They are efficient at working in teams and their position involves listening, understanding, explaining, convincing, making decisions and assuming responsibilities within the companies they work for.

An engineer uses his/her core knowledge to develop efficient work methods and to remain competent when faced with practical issues. The engineer is possessed of qualities such as realism and creativity as well as interpersonal relational skills.
Engineers occupy key positions in the business world. As such they plan, organise and manage. They are flexible throughout their career path and constantly update their competences and knowledge with regards to new technologies. With their capacity to innovate they are actors of progress and creators of activity.

Research and development, research, building sites, production, maintenance, logistics, quality, security, networks, information technologies, sales, business, consulting, expert, … The positions that may be held by engineers cover a wide range of fields, and evolve in the course of a career according to personal choice or opportunities.

Accommodation:

Since its creation in 1957, INSA Lyon has offered its students the possibility to reside on-campus. Nowadays, such quality accommodation is still available and any student enrolled at INSA Lyon may request a room or a flat in one of our residences. Some of the rooms are shared by two students.

Our Halls of Residence at INSA Lyon are reserved, as a priority, to engineer students, also occasionally to students enrolled with the Advanced Masters and PhD programmes at INSA Lyon.

The rental contract may not exceed 10 months (Sept 1st to June 30th). One Hall remains open during July and August in order to accommodate engineer students undertaking their internship.

American Graduate School in Paris

Located in the heart of Paris, The American Graduate School in Paris (AGS) provides U.S.-accredited graduate programs taught entirely in English to students from around the world.

AGS offers a 2-year Master of Arts (MA) degree and a Ph.D. in International Relations & Diplomacy.
