Language Placement Test on Skype:
You may request an online language placement test on skype whether you are ready to begin taking Spanish lessons with us, or you are still considering your options. This test is provided to you free of charge. We believe everyone that visits our site is entitled to a free language placement test without having to register with us. We do require the use of a web cam and headset during the interview; however, the use of a web cam is optional during lessons.
We target the subjunctive mood and all verb conjugation tenses in order to provide extensive practice, thus improving language skills. Our live lessons on skype with a bilingual teacher who is also fluent in English have proven to be highly appreciated by students that have reached intermediate and advanced levels.

Costa Rican Language Academy, CRLA, has been providing high quality Spanish language instruction along with an authentic Latin American cultural experience since 1989. CRLA is completely owned and operated by Costa Ricans. All our professors have university degrees as well as ample training and experience. Our Spanish immersion program includes Homestay with local families, Latin dance classes, Costa Rican cooking classes, additional conversation sessions, and other cultural activities. CRLA also has a volunteer program in San José with children, elderly people, or in ecological and conservation projects around the country.
The Spanish school in Manuel Antonio , Costa Rica was started in 1992 and is today recognized as one of the best Spanish language schools in Costa Rica. Centro Panamericano de Idiomas (CPI), is a Spanish immersion language institution in Costa Rica in Central America. Based in Port Hadlock, Washington, Experience Mission is a Christian mission organization offering a 6 month immersion program in the Caribbean region that starts by serving in one of South Atlanta's toughest neighborhoods before volunteering abroad in Haiti, Jamaica and Costa Rica. Experience Mission also offers a mission program in Africa, that starts in the Native American Navajo Nation of northeastern Arizona, before travelling to South Africa, Mozambique and Botswana.
