Located in Havant, south east Hampshire on the South Coast of England, between Portsmouth and Chichester, Glenhurst is a small independent school, catering for children from 3 months old in the nursery, to 8 years old in the school. We offer small class sizes, individual attention, sports, swimming and English as a second language tuition, as well as thriving French, Drama and ICT. Glenhurst is open for 50 weeks a year from 8.00am to 6.00pm, all meals provided, cooked from fresh ingredients on site.

The Nursery and Pre-School children learn through a play-based Early Years curriculum which includes Jolly Phonics and Montessori educational activities, arts and crafts, music and singing, stories, games and sports, gardening, cooking and ICT. Glenhurst Nursery and Pre-School is OFSTED registered to claim the enhanced Pathfinder Early Years Grant for you for three educational terms per year, which gives you 15 free hours of care and education per week from the term following your child's third birthday. The Nursery, Pre-School and Infant School are situated in a quiet street in the heart of Havant within easy reach of the main bus routes and Havant railway station.

Havant is approx. 22 miles from Southampton, 7 miles from Portsmouth and 9 miles from Chichester. Havant is a major interchange station on the main south coast rail network, with other local stations at Bedhampton, Emsworth and Warblington. There are frequent direct services to Portsmouth, Southampton, Chichester and London.

The Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts (LIPA) opened in 1996 to forge a new approach to performing arts training. We offer performing arts classes for 4 - 19 years old in our part-time performing arts academy called LIPA 4:19. We have over 450 students who attend LIPA 4:19 every week and we have been blessed with a huge pool of talent from around the North. Due to its popularity, we opened a new satellite school at Maghull High School in September 2008. providing training in acting, singing and dancing.

The arts and entertainment industry needs multi-disciplined all-round performers, and LIPA 4:19 is designed to make you just that. Here you learn to sing, dance and act with fully qualified and enthusiastic tutors, who all have professional experience. All classes are carefully designed to reflect the correct stage of performing arts development for each age group, from young children through to teenagers.

Being based at the world-famous Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts, LIPA 4:19 also offers fantastic facilities for the students and a safe and encouraging learning environment.
