The IB Middle Years Program (IB MYP) and the IB Diploma Program (IB DP) develops students' critical thinking skills in a supportive learning environment. In preparing students for university entrance, the IB DP not only requires a high-level of academic discipline through rigorous academics, but also encourages students to ask challenging questions, to develop a strong sense of their own identity and international mindedness.

French Baccalaureate: Ermitage is accredited by the French Ministry of National Education and offers a wide choice of foreign languages and an American section for the International Option of the French Baccalaureate (OIB). While the main language of instruction is French, the OIB program makes academic and linguistic demands to an equal level in English and French. Students who succeed in these curricula develop a capacity for hard work, and acquire an intellectual and cultural flexibility that gives them the potential to become excellent global citizens.

International Option (OIB) of the French Baccalaureate
: Also known as the OIB, the "option internationale" offers our bilingual students the opportunity  of demonstrating their high level of both French and English. The OIB at Ermitage follows the American Section curriculum where History and English/American Literature classes are held entirely in English.
