Trinity Lutheran School:
Trinity Lutheran School, located in Toledo, Ohio, is a private school offering Pre-K through 8 Grade Programs. Our focus is to share the Gospel message with our students and teach them to be witnesses as well. Our students attend chapel services in our church once per week and every year we prepare a theme for our focus. This year’s theme is "Won by One." 1 Corinthians 15:57 states…But thanks be to God! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

Preschool through 8th grade:
Trinity Lutheran School offers a complete course of study for preschool through 8th grade. The curriculum is designed to meet the standards set by the State of Ohio. Subjects taught and textbooks used are similar to those in area public school systems, however all classes are taught from a Lutheran Christian perspective in accordance with the principles of Holy Scripture.

Athletics:
Physical Education class (Gym class) is offered at least once per week in all grades. We also offer extra-curricular sports programs for grades one through eight. An athletic fee, a signed sports waiver, and a positive attitude are all you need to participate in these programs. Trinity is pleased to sponsor interscholastic teams in Soccer, Volleyball, Cheerleading, Basketball, and Track and Field.

Fine Arts:
Students at Trinity Lutheran School study art through Discipline Based Art Education, which is the teaching of art as a valued academic subject through focus on Art Aesthetics, Art History, Art Production, and Art Criticism. Through the year they will have the opportunity to work with a variety of different materials, both two-diminsional and three-dimensional. I encourage their creativity and allow them to make their own choices about their artwork. Most importantly we get messy and have fun!

Music:
Musical outlets include vocal choirs, instumental ensembles such as band, handbells, handchimes, Orff, and recorders. These choirs and ensembles regularly participate in worship as well as Wednesday chapels and concerts. During music classes, students are able to use various rhythm instruments to make music while keeping the beat. In addition to singing and playing, the students are able to participate in our All-School Musical which incorporates singing, dancing, acting and backstage work. This is a great experience in teamwork for students, parents, and teachers.

Science:
Our Science Lab is fully equipped with all the necessities for teaching Life, Earth, and Physical Science. A wide variety of animals and plants help to educate our students in the life science curriculum. Information from the texts is supplemented with many hands-on activities both in the lab and in the field. Science at Trinity teaches all current science theories with an ever-present emphasis on God as the Creator and sustainer of everything in the universe.
