A.C.T Programs at The Cathedral Church of St. John the Divine:
Adults and Children in Trust (A.C.T.), located on the 11-acre oasis of the Cathedral of Saint John the Divine campus on the Upper West Side of Manhattan, is an education center that provides year-round educational and recreational programs for infants, children and teens from 6 months to 17 years old. At A.C.T., we work with children from the very beginning. Once children are in school, we provide families with afterschool care, holiday camps, summer camps and even party services for those special milestones in a child’s life.

The ACT Program is one of the few programs within the five boroughs that can boast of its spacious grounds, a year round program, extended hours and services for a wide range of age groups. In the summer, there's no need to bus your child away from home in order to be out in the sun, around trees and flowers. Our 11-acre oasis in Manhattan allows children to garden, play in fields, meet outdoors, eat under the shade of cherry trees, play in gymnasiums and use crafts rooms. Peacocks and squirrels roam our unique setting.

ACT is located on the grounds of the Cathedral Church of St. John the Divine in the Morningside Heights neighborhood on Manhattan's Upper West Side. It is bounded on the East by Morningside Drive, on the West by Amsterdam Avenue, on the South by Cathedral Parkway (West 110th Street) and on the North by West 113th Street.

Public Transportation:
ACT is a block or two from two subway stops. The 1 train stop at Cathedral Parkway (West 110th Street) and Broadway. The B and C train stop is at Cathedral Parkway (West 110th Street) and Central Park West. Bus stops are even closer. The M11 and M4 Buses stop on the corner of 110th Street and Amsterdam Avenue.

Founded in 1971, The Adults and Children in Trust (A.C.T.) Program provides a safe haven where toddlers to teens from many faiths, cultures and economic backgrounds gather to learn, play and grow, as they participate in a broad range of programs among highly-trained and caring adults. A.C.T. consistently provides children and their families with high quality services that sustain, support and enhance their ability to thrive in diverse communities. A.C.T. offers year-round, affordable, reliable, nonsectarian and socially-enriching educational programs and special events for families in and around the Cathedral of St. John the Divine, the world's largest Gothic cathedral.
