Gold Material Montessori School - Midtown Manhattan:
Gold Material Montessori School, conveniently located in Kips Bay in the Eastern part of Midtown Manhattan, is a year-round licensed preschool providing high quality childcare programs for children ages 2 to 6 years. Our programs are offered seven days a week from 8:30 am until 9 pm, we also provide an overnight stay program for the children of busy New York parents with nontraditional working hours.

Gold Material Montessori School was created in 2004 with a purpose of providing quality preschool education for children ages 2 to 6. Over the years we’ve been working with hundreds of children including those who were classified as difficult, were refused services in other educational centers or who had developmental delays.

We are proud that nearly 100% of our graduates score 97-99 on Gifted and Talented tests and were accepted to the best school on New York City. We able to reach these superior results because of the Montessori Method and individual approach that combined with other modern methods including developmental games approach.

The Montessori Approach:
Our primary focus is providing a quality education to our children. The Montessori approach makes us different. When we work with children we approach each child differently. We see what he/she is capable of doing. We then work in specific areas to fill the gaps, so each child grows and develops without having problem areas. He/she can move forward with his/her education at the correct developmental area. Our philosophy is the child’s happiness first. We want our children never to be bored by learning. They'll always be searching for new things, new subjects, new stuff to explore.

Kips Bay Branch of Gold Material Montessori School occupies the entire second floor of 484 2nd Avenue, in the luxury Kips Bay Court residential complex, Midtown Manhattan, New York City. With an approximate area of 4,000 square feet.

The School has its own separate entrance and large fenced-in yard that is reserved only for parents who come in the morning and evening when dropping off or picking up their children. A second private outdoor playground for children is covered with a fall-proof surface and is located on the same level as the school space.
