French Language Salon, NYC:
Situated on Lexington Avenue on Manhattan's Upper East Side, the French Language Salon provides a range of beginner to advanced level French language courses to adults, teens, children, and tots. In addition to our general French as a foreign language lessons for adults, we also offer Teen French (8-17 years), French for Children (3-9 years), and French for Tots (0-3 years). We also provide Private / One-on-one lessons, Business French, Test Preparation courses, and Refresher programs.

Beginner to Advanced Level French Language Classes:

General French classes for Adults (18+)
Beginner to advanced levels (plus special class options) can accommodate long-term study, prepare students for overseas travel, and train pupils to interact in French-language business environments. No matter what your level, we offer:

French For Children & Teenagers
Teenagers and tweens require classroom activities, materials, and visual aids that are uniquely suited to them. Vocabulary and situational content must fit their level of understanding and interests. French Salon class discussions, visual aids, and materials are tailored to keep teens and tweens interested, engaged, and learning. Age groups include:

- Teens Ages 15-17
- Tweens Ages 11-14

Private French Lessons
Each lesson lasts 60 minutes and is scheduled with the convenience of the student in mind.

Tutoring & Test Preparation Courses
François Thibaut and his team are available, on a limited basis, for private, one-on-one French language tutoring.

Business French 
This class is for the high-intermediate to advanced student. Audio-visual materials, as well as selections from French-language business periodicals, are used to review specialized vocabulary and speech patterns. This class prepares students to feel confident interacting in French-speaking business communities.

French Refresher Course
This program is for those who studied French in the past and want to brush-up on fundamentals, including grammar, structure, and tenses. This class moves at a quicker pace.

French Grammar Review
This class is designed for the intermediate-to-advanced student who wants to focus upon grammar.

French On-Location
These are tailor-made programs designed to be interactive, hands-on, and relate to the special needs of a particular company or group. Classes can be structured as French immersion field trips, site-visits, or traditional classroom lessons. French On-Location programs are planned to be immersive, time-economizing, stimulating, and relevant.
