Established in 1998, we provide quality year-round and summer English language courses to students from around the world, including Standard English, Business English, and TOEFL iBT preparation. Conveniently situated in Lower Manhattan, just three blocks north of Wall Street, we teach students of all levels - from total beginner to advanced. Our courses are available all year round.

We are approved by the New York Board of Education, licensed by the NYS Education Department, and accredited by ACCET.

International Students Welcome:
NYEA is authorized under federal law to enroll non-immigrant students so no what matter your background, you have the opportunity to enroll with us. 

We have students from over 50 different countries which creates a great international environment for learning, making new friends and learning different cultures.

English Language Programs:
Morning & Afternoon Classes Available

• Full-time / Part-time Standard English courses (20 or 18 hours / 14 hours per week)
• TOEFL iBT preparation (4-week/ 72-hour, or 8-week/ 144-hour course)
• Business English (4 weeks)
• Conversation & Pronunciation (4 hours per week)
• Slang & Idioms (4 hours per week)
• Private English lessons
• Short-term Summer English courses
• TEFL / TESOL English teacher training

On successful completion of your course, you will be awarded an official NYEA Certificate of Completion.
