Menaul School, Albuquerque:
Located a short distance from downtown Albuquerque, New Mexico, Menaul School is a college preparatory, co-educational, independent boarding and day school for students in Grades 6-12 (day school only for Grades 6-8, boarding for Grades 9-12). Our small student body and tight-knit comunity allows students to flourish both academically and socially. Students are encouraged to not only pursue their academics, but participate in athletics and the arts.

About Us:
Originally founded by the Presbyterian Church, Menaul became an independent school in 1972, yet we still preserve a relationship with the Presbyterian Church,USA.

Students come from around the world to take advantage of our academic, arts and sports programs as well as the Southwestern desert climate and proximity to cultural, historical and recreational treasures of New Mexico. Menaul graduates have matriculated at highly competitive public and private universities from coast to coast.

International Students:
International students enter Menaul School well prepared and on their way to becoming proficient in English. Bright, motivated students flourish in the challenging academics at Menaul School and benefit from working closely with the Director of the International Program and ESL.

In addition to required math, science, history, and English courses, international students may take ESL (English as a Second Language) courses to supplement their studies of both the English language and American culture.

These courses, along with the support of the International Program, help bridge the distance between culture and provide individual attention to students who are far from home.

Oklahoma School of Science and Mathematics

Situated in Oklahoma City, The Oklahoma School of Science and Mathematics (OSSM) is a prestigious two-year residential high school (Grades 11 & 12) designed to educate academically gifted high school students in advanced mathematics and science.

OSSM was created through legislative action in 1983 and graduated its first class of 44 seniors from across the state in 1992. The school currently has 71 juniors, 63 seniors and an ultimate enrollment estimated at 300.

OSSM is located on a 32-acre campus in Oklahoma City, just south of the State capital and across from the medical and research facilities of the Oklahoma Health Center. Classes are held in Lincoln School, a renovated Oklahoma City public school, and students live in a residence hall that was completed in early 1998.

Colorado Rocky Mountain School

The Colorado Rocky Mountain School (CRMS) is a co-educational college preparatory boarding school for students in Grades 9-12, located near Aspen Colorado in the heart of the beautiful Rocky Mountains on a 350-acre working ranch.

Turning Winds Academic Institute (TWAI)

Located in northwestern Montana, Turning Winds Academic Institute (TWAI) is an accredited, family-run, therapeutic boarding school for troubled teens (boys and girls) ages 13-18.

We welcome students from Texas, across the United States, & students from around the world (TWAI is authorized to issue 1-20's for international students). 

In our beautiful, peaceful, and safe location, we combine the benefits of a therapeutic boarding school, a wilderness program, and a residential treatment center (RTC).

TWAI has been serving struggling teens and their families since 2002, with an exceptional degree of success.

We provide an extremely high standard of therapeutic treatment to our students, and offer help for the following presenting issues: poor academic performance, behavioral problems, addictions, low self-worth, spectrum disorders, ADD/ADHD, and attachment disorders among others.

With a passion for helping young people in crisis, our clinical, educational, and operations staff are among the best in the country.

We are a small program (40 students) which means that we are able to provide a truly unique and customized approach for every student.

Typically our on site student to staff ratio is 5:1. The average stay at our residential treatment center is 12 months.

We create a customized program for each student that requires a minimum of 3 months. However, best results for lasting success are realized through 6+ months of treatment.

TWAI graduates average a 3.5 GPA. It is common for a student to complete 1.5 years of course work in 1 year.
Provo Canyon School
Courses / Programs
Provo Canyon School has been providing mental health care for boys and girls ages 12-17 for nearly 40 years. We are one of the nation’s largest and most experienced treatment facilities for youth.

Provo Canyon School’s alumni and friends are its largest source of referrals, and our caring professionals operate in a unique environment which helps make a positive difference in a teenager’s life.

The Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO) and the Northwest Association of Accredited Schools (NAAS) has endorsed the school. The National Association of Therapeutic Schools and Programs (NATSAP) is also an associate of the school. We have a 242-bed facility with two different campus sites for boys and girls.

Provo is the location of the boy's campus; the girl's campus is situated at Orem. We provide services to students who are between the ages of 11 and 17 years of age (7th to 12th graders) with a variety of different clinical needs.

The average length of stay for a Provo Canyon School student is 10 months, however this can vary considerably depending on the clinical issues of the student. All of our teachers are special education certified.
Academic Programs for 7th to 12th Graders:

- Our fully accredited program and small class sizes are designed to meet each child's individual needs and to facilitate the ability to work with learning differences.

- We offer comprehensive academic programs with over 140 different academic classes taught within an 8:1 ratio.

Crossroads Academy

Located in Ogden, Utah, Crossroads Academy is a therapeutic boarding school for young men aged 16 and 17 years old who have experienced substance abuse with diagnoses of oppositional defiant disorder, mood disorders and ADHD and learning disorders. Crossroads Academy is committed to helping each student find joy and confidence in learning.

We recognize that the future success of each student strongly depends on his completion of high school, as well as creating a positive road toward employment and/or higher education.

With this in mind, each student who enters our program will have an individual education plan that will address his current needs and skills.
