Located in Montclair, Essex County, nothern New Jersey, we at the Language Center for Children pride ourselves on our first class Spanish programs for tots to older children from Essex County and surrounding regions such as Bergen County and Hudson County. This private, child-centered zone is filled with cheery arts and crafts, funny Professor Toto characters, and educational props. We also provide courses for children in English, French, Italian, and Chinese.

The French Academy of Bilingual Culture

With campuses in New Milford, Bergen County NJ, and Morris Plains, Morris County NJ, The French Academy of Bilingual Culture provides quality bilingual (French-English) programs for children. Accredited by both French and American authorities, we offer Nursery through 4th Grade programs at our New Milford school, and Pre-K through 1st Grade programs at our Morris Plains school. A new grade will be opened every year up to 8th grade.

The Academy also hosts after-school programs in French, art programs in the summer and language classes for adults. In addition, we have a new school in Jersey City that currently provides after-school French programs, and will offer Pre-K through 1st Grade programs.

El Taller Latino Americano, (The Latin American Workshop) is a non-profit cultural arts center on Manhattan's Upper West Side in New York - a space alive with color, sound, movement, and creativity - music, art and language converge to educate and entertain.

We offer a year-round after-school Spanish language immersion program for children ages 4 to 13 years, covering thematic units that include games, short stories, songs (including songs written by our founder for bilingual Sesame Street episodes), drama, dance, puppetry, and music with an emphasis on auditory learning.

Located just 20 miles west of New York City, in Glen Ridge, Essex County NJ, Happy Mandarin Club is a Chinese language school that provides beginner to advanced level Mandarin Chinese classes for Pre-K to adult students.

Courses include weekday and weekend General Chinese study options, Chinese test preparation (SAT & HSK exams), after-school enrichment programs, and online Mandarin classes conducted via WebEx.

Course contents include learning characters, phrases, and sentences; routine conversations; character writing, Chinese grammar; listening and reading comprehension practices; speaking exercises; and the Pinyin system (for ages 8+).

Our club teacher has years of experience in teaching Chinese to students of all levels. Being a native of Beijing, our teacher delivers the most authentic Chinese enunciation to our students. Simplified Chinese is taught and used in all lessons, and traditional Chinese writing practice is also taught upon individual request.
