With campuses in New Milford, Bergen County NJ, and Morris Plains, Morris County NJ, The French Academy of Bilingual Culture provides quality bilingual (French-English) programs for children. Accredited by both French and American authorities, we offer Nursery through 4th Grade programs at our New Milford school, and Pre-K through 1st Grade programs at our Morris Plains school. A new grade will be opened every year up to 8th grade. In addition, we have a new school in Jersey City that currently provides after-school French programs, and will offer Pre-K through 1st Grade programs.

Bilingual French-English Programs:
A leader in dual language education, The French Academy of Bilingual Culture serves students from Nursery through 4th grade, adding a grade each year with plans to go to 8th grade. At the French Academy, children are taught to be bilingual with varying emphases on French and English. The ultimate goal is fluency in both languages. And, it works!

- New Milford: Nursery through 4th Grades, after-school programs & enrichment classes
- Morris Plains: Pre-K through 1st Grade, after-school programs & enrichment classes
- Jersey City: Currently offering after-school French programs, and will offer Pre-K through 1st Grade programs from September 2013.

We follow the structure of the French Education Ministry, while adhering to the American guidelines established by the NJ Core Curriculum Standards. After attending our school, students are prepared to enter French or American schools. In the early years, we focus on establishing a strong foundation in French. At 2 years old, 90% of the curriculum is taught in French. Then, as the children get older the number of hours taught in English slowly increases (3 hours per week at 3 years old, 6.5 hours in first grade).

By fourth grade the children will receive an equal amount of French and English. At all grades, we consider the whole child, carefully monitoring emotional, social and academic development. We believe all children have a potential for excellence and we do everything we can to develop their potential.

The Academy also hosts after-school activities in French, enrichment classes, summer programs for children and language classes for adults.
