St. Mark's Cooperative Nursery School, New York:Located in Rockville Centre, New York, St. Mark's Co-operative Nursery School, is a non-profit organization owned and operated by its members - the parents. Accredited by the National Academy of Early Childhood Programs and registered with the New York Department of Education, we provide 3 year old, 4 year old and 5 year old enrichment classes as well as 2 year old Mommy and Me and Separation classes. Our nursery school is special because we are a "cooperative." Our school is run by the families whose children attend classes.

Longview School, located in Brewster (50 miles north of NYC) in Putnam County, is a state recognized private school offering K-12 programs. Longview combines rigorous academics in the traditional curriculum with electives hardly ever seen on the pre-K to 12th grade level. While you still have the support of your teachers in high school, you are expected to think for yourself and to take control of your learning. Whether you're a freshman or a senior, you can improve your study habits by making a few changes to your routine. Your academic success is entirely up to you!
Try to study in quiet environments that are free from distractions - you can't concentrate effectively if you are constantly being interrupted. Have a dedicated study area at home, and use your school library also. If you have disruptive classmates, try to sit as far away from them as possible so you can focus on your teacher.
Create an efficient and realistic study schedule for yourself and stick to it. Study for blocks of 20-50 minutes and make sure you take plenty of breaks. Try to be physically active during your breaks but make sure you return to your study!

Centrally located in Manhattan, NYC, The Lee Strasberg Theatre & Film Institute is the only school in the world that offers training of Lee Strasberg’s Method Acting in its pure form. As well as our acting programs for adults, we offer year-round classes for kids and teens aged between 7-18. These 12-week Saturday programs are offered for students during the fall, winter, summer and spring.
