Jersey City Art School:Located in downtown Jersey City, the Jersey City Art School at the Thomas John Carlson Art Studio is a visual art school that offers classes taught by local artists, weekly figure drawing sessions and lectures by artists with locally showing exhibitions. Following on from our initial success, we have extended our classes to include 8-week courses in painting, drawing, stained glass and figure sculpture. We also offer weekend workshops in jewelry, digital photography, and printmaking, and are expanding into basic carpentry, ceramics, and glassblowing.
