Guanajuato city is home to various important artistic and cultural festivals throughout the year. These include international events, such as the Festival Internacional Cervantino, the Guanajuato International Film Festival, and the Coloquio Internacional Cervantino, and local events, such as Festival Medieval, where locals demonstrate medieval times, and Festival Cultural Universitario de la Universidad de Guanajuato. Every week, the school offers Latin dance classes, conversation workshops, movies shown in Spanish, Wireless Internet, and many additional fun activities, that are included in the price of tuition. In addition, a welcome party will be held every week to welcome new students and to give them the opportunity to know their professors and the city in general. The school also organizes cooking classes, night activities, arts and crafts, and will inform the students of any activities occurring in the city (festivals, art shows, tours, etc.). Some activities are organized on behalf of a travel agency through the school. If that is the case, the school will inform the participants of any necessary information.
