St. Timothy’s School, Stevenson:
Located in Stevenson MD, just 12 miles north of Baltimore, St. Timothy’s School is an all-girls residential International Baccalaureate (IB) World School. We seek students of intelligence and integrity from diverse cultural, racial, socioeconomic and geographic backgrounds. St. Timothy’s School was the first girls boarding school in the United States to become an International Baccalaureate authorized World School in 2006.

The International Baccalaureate Organization (IBO):

The roster of IB World Schools has grown to more than 3,000 institutions in 140 countries, with over 300 IB schools in Canada. St. Timothy’s School was one of the first girls boarding schools to offer the International Baccalaureate exclusively.

Turning Winds Academic Institute (TWAI)
Courses / Programs
Located in northwestern Montana, Turning Winds Academic Institute (TWAI) is an accredited, family-run, therapeutic boarding school for troubled teens (boys and girls) ages 13-18 from Maryland and across the United States.

In our beautiful, peaceful, and safe location, we combine the benefits of a therapeutic boarding school, a wilderness program, and a residential treatment center (RTC).

TWAI has been serving struggling teens and their families since 2002, with an exceptional degree of success.

We provide an extremely high standard of therapeutic treatment to our students, and offer help for the following presenting issues: poor academic performance, behavioral problems, addictions, low self-worth, spectrum disorders, ADD/ADHD, and attachment disorders among others.

With a passion for helping young people in crisis, our clinical, educational, and operations staff are among the best in the country.

We are a small program (40 students) which means that we are able to provide a truly unique and customized approach for every student.

Typically our on site student to staff ratio is 5:1. The average stay at our residential treatment center is 12 months.

We also provide a GED program, and college courses.

We create a customized program for each student that requires a minimum of 3 months. However, best results for lasting success are realized through 6+ months of treatment.

TWAI graduates average a 3.5 GPA. It is common for a student to complete 1.5 years of course work in 1 year.
House of Hope Maryland
Courses / Programs
House of Hope Maryland, located in Silver Spring, MD (just 6 miles north of Washington, D.C.), is a co-ed boarding school for troubled teens aged 13-17.

This 9-18 month program includes Bible-based spiritual counselling, a High School Diploma program, an Accelerated Christian Educational (ACE) program, and other features.

This “safe haven” will serve as an academic and spiritual refuge for teens suffering from the negative influences threatening their lives such as drugs, alcohol, the occult, gangs, as well as sexual, mental and emotional abuse.

Our mission at House of Hope Maryland is to offer hope, healing, and solutions for hurting teens by providing a safe, nurturing environment, structured education, Christian counseling and spiritual guidance.

The Madeira School is a girls' boarding school and day school, Grades 9–12, located 12 miles outside Washington, D.C. in McLean, Fairfax County, northern Virginia.

The Hill School is a co-educational boarding and day school consisting of grades 9-12 and a post-graduate year. We are located in Pottstown in Montgomery County PA, 40 miles north-west of Philadelphia.

Founded in 1851, as The Family Boarding School, The Hill School provides students from across the U.S. and around the world with an outstanding liberal arts education designed to prepare them well for excellence in college, careers, and life.

We provide a challenging curriculum to Hill’s 500+ students (56% boys and 44% girls). We have a 76% / 24% boarding-to-day student ratio, and all students must board for one year. Hill students are drawn from 27 states and 20 foreign countries. The student / teacher ratio is approximately 7-1.

Located in Front Royal, VA, Randolph-Macon Academy (R-MA) is a college-prep boarding school with an Air Force JROTC program. R-MA is one of the premier military schools in the nation, and the only Virginia military school offering Air Force JROTC. Our focus is on college-prep. 100% of our students are accepted to college.

Students in Grades 6-12 discover their potential and develop better academic and organizational skills. Students receive personal attention in the classroom and in the dorm. They learn positive Christian morals and develop self-discipline through a structured program, administered by teachers and dorm counselors who care deeply about "their" kids.
