Ohana International School in Tokyo is an inclusive preschool with a difference, located in Azabu-juban, and catering for children between the ages of 18 months and 5 years. We also offer before-school & after-school child care, after-school tutoring programs and summer schools.

Ohana staff aim to create a warm, caring environment that reflects their philosophy and at the same time provides an infinite number of opportunities for children to develop a “love of learning.” The learning programme is designed to build on the strengths of each child, valuing families and their ethnicity as well as everyone’s contribution to the school. The owners of Ohana International School in Tokyo are experienced educators who believe in developing the whole child. - Regular preschool program for children aged 18 months–5 years from 8:30am–2pm. Half-day option available.

- Before- and after-school care available 7:30am–6pm.

Ookayama International School (OIS) in Tokyo, Japan offers an alternative to the larger international schools in Tokyo. The school offers distance learning programs for grades 7-12 (ages 12 - 18) and students must attend our school to participate in them. We provide a fully accredited American high school education which has helped numerous students go on to higher education in Japan and overseas. Distance learning allows for many unique opportunities not available in the more traditional school system.

Students are enrolled on distance learning programs at North Dakota Center for Distance Education or at The University of Nebraska-Lincoln Independent Study High School. These programs are fully accredited through the North Central Association Commission and School Improvement (NCACASI) and the Commission on International and Trans-Regional Accreditation (CITA). There are well over 200 different courses available for study.

Students may enroll at any time during the year, and if need be, set an individual pace for their work. Courses are also available for part-time students and those who have taken a break from education. Older students can take classes outside normal school hours.
- Distance learning middle & high school programs for Grades 6 - 12.

Graduation from OIS is not based on age or grade, but rather on credits earned.
